The Gennadi hotel is a different level and I cannot fault it !! The staff so friendly and efficient nothing is too much trouble. The cleanliness of the room was absolutely amazing the cleaning staff are an asset to the hotel!! I will be recommending this hotel to everyone, I cannot praise it enough.Five star and beyond!!Thank-you for a wonderful time !!
We had a lovely stay at Gennadi Grand Resort and will definitely return in the future! This is an incredible resort and your stay will be luxurious. We stayed in a garden view double room and we really enjoyed the extra privacy which came with garden view versus a pool view room. The beds were super comfortable and we had a great sleep, no noise issues at all! All staff were amazing here, room was always kept clean and towels were refreshed daily, hospitality and reception staff were so accommodating and definitely had luxury service. I suffer with dairy intolerance and all staff were knowledgable about allergies and dietary requirements and always went above and beyond to accommodate and cater for me. The food at the main buffet restaurant was great and dinner varied each night. I would say there could be a few more dairy free beef / pork options, however I’m sure if I requested this the staff would’ve been able to accommodate. However there was definitely enough meat, carb, and vegetable options for my intolerance - even desserts! We also tried the Italian à la carte restaurant and it was delicious, a very luxurious meal and was nice to have a different experience. Food at the pool bar was also very yummy and we spent most lunch times here. The location isn’t amazing as there is not too much around - however the hotel offer free transport to Gennadi town, they also offer a car rental service, and they can easily book you on to lots of excursions across the island. For us, we wanted a relaxing holiday, so location wasn’t a huge issue.
Overall, Gennadi Grand Resort was a beautiful experience and we will 100% be back! 10/10 value for money and would recommend to everyone. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay such a memorable experience.
We had a wonderful stay at Gennadi Grand Resort. The hotel is beautiful, the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing, and the service was excellent throughout our visit. This holiday was a second visit to the Gennadi Grand Resort and we decided to return because we had such a wonderful experience last year there. It was everything we expected and more once again. The hotel complex is beautiful and the staff are so friendly and welcoming and caring - they all just want you to have an awesome holiday. We would like to give particular thanks to our houseeping ladies, Bella and Zika, who were so kind to us and kept our suite pristine. Veroniq and all of her colleagues at the buffet restaurant were brilliant and the food was delicious every day. Lunch at the pool bar was always great and everything was served with some friendly chat and smiles and the staff at the Grand bar were very attentive and friendly too. The food at all of the à la carte restaurants is amazing and the staff are very dedicated to giving excellent service too. Finally we can definitely recommend everyone at the hotel for making sure you have an excellent, relaxing and highly enjoyable time with them and we certainly intend to return in the future.
Extraordinary Perfection
This hotel is far beyond perfection. What an experience we have had here!
We have already stayed in many hotels with a very high standard, but honestly, nothing compares to this one.
The welcome was fantastic, the room is beautiful and the service everywhere in the resort is simply amazing. Every guest is treated with so much attention, and if something is not possible, they really do everything they can to make it possible.
There are three à la carte restaurants.
The Greek restaurant is a really nice experience. You start with different kinds of meze, where you can choose what you like and have as much as you want, followed by delicious and authentic Greek dishes. A really great experience.
The Steakhouse… what a choice! Fantastic side dishes and perfectly grilled meat. The steak tartare is prepared at the table, which makes it even more special. And everything happens in a completely open kitchen.
And then the Italian restaurant… wow! This is really next level. Again, there is a tableside preparation, including a carpaccio with truffle. Absolutely delicious.
The dishes we tasted here are honestly some of the best Italian dishes I have ever eaten, even compared with some of the best Italian restaurants I have visited.
The service is also TOP. A special mention to Dharia from the Italian restaurant and Khristine, asian girl, who was also fantastic.
Actually, I could mention so many people because everyone is so friendly and helpful, from the housekeeping team to the supervisors. I have never experienced this level of friendliness throughout an entire resort.
We are still here today, on our last day, and tonight we have been invited to experience The Fine Dining Experience.
As a culinary consultant in Belgium, I will definitely write an extensive review about this experience on my own page, because I believe it deserves to be shared.
And the biggest compliment we can give is this:
We will definitely come back.
That is something we have never said before after staying at a hotel.
