Located 8 km from Rhodes town, the hotel is a luxurious refuge after an exciting day in the resort. The rooms are comfortably equipped with all the necessary amenities. The restaurants offer numerous gastronomic delights. At all bars, a large variety of hors d'oeuvres, snacks, ice cream, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are given richly. The Spa and wellness centre delights guests' senses. It is a paradise for families.
Would have given this 4.5 if there was the option.. the hotel staff are exceptional, along with housekeeping and cleanliness of the hotel. We thought the entertainment was very good, which. Is important to us, and far superior than any other hotel we have stayed in. The speciality restaurants food is lovely, but however we did feel the buffet in the main restaurant had deteriorated. There was a wedding taking place on our last day, which meant we couldn’t use the adult pool & bar area which impacted us on our holiday experience nothing against the wedding, but feel that there shouldn’t be restricted main areas, as this is not a cheap holiday. Very nice hotel in almost all respects.and we had a great time. That being said it was dissappointing that the main bar and adults pool were closed all day sept 18 for a wedding. I have been to many all inclusive hotels in Europe (eg ikos) and the Caribbean and weddings have always been held such as not to impinge on existing hotel guests. In no way should the observation I have made here adversely affect people on reception/guest services who I dealt with.
We recently spent our holiday at Mitsis Alila in Rhodes, and we honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was absolutely wonderful. The resort exceeded our expectations in so many ways, and we had an amazing time as a family.
First of all, the food was fantastic! There was such an incredible variety of food throughout the day, with plenty of different options to choose from. Everything we tried was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. With so many restaurants, food stations and bars available, there was always something tasty to enjoy. We especially loved the fact that we could always find something different and never got bored with the food.
Our room was absolutely perfect. We stayed in a room with a private pool, and it was one of the highlights of our entire holiday. Having our own pool was such a luxury and gave us the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy some private time whenever we wanted. The room itself was beautiful, comfortable, spacious and very well maintained. We genuinely loved coming back to our room every day.
The children also had a fantastic time at the resort. They particularly loved the water slide in the children's pool, which was a huge hit and provided plenty of fun and entertainment. There was a great atmosphere around the pools, and there was always something for everyone to enjoy.
And then there is the beach – absolutely beautiful! We loved spending time there. The sea was gorgeous, the beach was lovely, and it was the perfect place to relax, swim and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Rhodes. It really added to the feeling that we were on a proper Greek island holiday.
One of the things that impressed us the most was the service. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, polite and welcoming. Whether at the restaurants, bars, reception or around the resort, we were always greeted with a smile and received excellent service. You can really feel that the staff care about the guests and want everyone to have a wonderful holiday.
The cleanliness was also excellent. Our room was always beautifully clean and well looked after, and the entire resort was very clean and well maintained. The public areas, pools and facilities were all kept to a very high standard. It was clear that a lot of attention is paid to cleanliness and maintenance throughout the resort.
Overall, Mitsis Alila gave us exactly the kind of holiday we were hoping for – and more. Amazing food, plenty of bars, a beautiful room with a private pool, fantastic pools, a fun children's water slide, a wonderful beach, excellent service and outstanding cleanliness.
We enjoyed every part of our stay and created so many wonderful family memories. It is not often that you leave a holiday already thinking about when you can come back, but that is exactly how we feel about Mitsis Alila.
We highly recommend Mitsis Alila and would absolutely love to return in the future. If you are looking for a beautiful, relaxing, fun and truly enjoyable family holiday in Rhodes, we wholeheartedly recommend this resort. We loved it!
Avoid this hotel – definitely not a 5-star experience. Our summer vacation was ruined. The A/C completely broke down all night leaving us and our 4-year-old child with zero sleep. Front desk staff and management (Ania, the duty manager, and Maria) were shockingly rude, smirked at our distress, and accused us of exaggerating. Towel requests took over an hour, dress code was enforced selectively, and at checkout we were even overcharged for a spa service. Zero accountability and disgraceful service
Lovely holiday experience with family , Nestoras the porter was so friendly and welcoming and helped with anything a lot like the staff in the whole hotel they were all so lovely. The champagne and wine bar was our favourite.
