The resort is named after the dama-dama deer that lives on the island since antiquity and its marble idols stand proud on famous Rhodes harbour. Dama Dama lies on famous Faliraki beach & features sun-filled public spaces, a 100-meter pool & gardens with bungalows framed by a vast beach line. Just 16 km from Rhodes airport and 12 km from Rhodes Town.
I am so happy we chose exactly this place for our family vacation! The location is just perfect - at one perfect beach, giving the best view. The room and all the facilities in the hotel area are very clean, we had daily cleaning of the room and had the amenities replaced. The hotel is kid-friendly, offers a variety of entertainment for all ages, and still was quiet enough to have some rest. And of course, the staff is just perfect - always ready to help, very friendly. We would come here again for sure!
My daughter and I have just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at this amazing hotel. Everything was perfect from the start. Our room was fantastic-spacious, spotless, bright and modern with a beautiful view of the sea and hotel.
The Hotel is great. Food was wonderful. Lots of choices. We tried the Hotels Greek and Italian restaurants too. Both great and well worth booking. Pool is lovely too-no issues at all with getting a sunbed. The same on the beach. Sea is lovely and warm but you do need sea shoes. We liked the beach bar best. Both day and night. Great chilled atmosphere.
All the staff are so friendly and helpful. A special mention to Nancy who works there. Very friendly and happy. And knew our drinks order by day 2!!

I have been here 2 days so impressed taken to our room, luggage delivered later on. Service 6* plus, food so nice. Staff are friendly and very helpful my daughter needs dialysis whilst we are here and guest relations organised taxi to the unit. Found my new happy place
Having tried to re-visit Greece for a few years we finally managed to get to Rhodes and stay at the Grecotel. While our room was a little on the small side and the bathroom in need of an upgrade, the hotel was great. Lovely large pool, with plenty of sun beds either by the pool or on a grassy area. All the meals were of a good quality and standard, with different options every evening. The beach bar provided a great venue for a late evening drink with the occasional live music performance, with a great selection of ice cream through the day.
We had an excellent 7-day family holiday. The staff really stood out — they couldn’t do enough for you, and everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming and accommodating to our needs.
The only small downsides were that the gym was very busy every morning, so there wasn’t much equipment available, and there weren’t enough sunbeds around the pool and beach. You really had no choice but to reserve them early, as by 9am, after breakfast, every sunbed was already taken.
That said, we would not hesitate to come back. A huge thank you to all the lovely staff for making our stay so enjoyable! 😊
