My wife and I stayed for 4 days. We should have left and found another hotel after the poor check-in experience. The rooms are very basic. The irons they provide are cheap garbage. It could not iron a linen shirt. The ironing board was bent and unstable. The water turned off (no water from the shower or the sink) on two separate days in the late afternoon. The hot water was never more than lukewarm. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. I brought these issues up with a manager. She said to come back tomorrow. The next day, I had to go over it again with another manager, and I said we should get a partial refund. She said she would get back to me. Then, the night before we left, we were told someone would call us within 2-3 days. Never got a call.
Room was dirty, internet didn’t work, and worst of all despite declining service multiple times, various men let themselves onto my patio/“private” pool by poking their heads over from other rooms or jumping the wall without my knowledge or consent, and while I was in various states of undress. Absolutely not safe for solo female travelers.
Beautiful hotel with nice rooms and mostly with a terrace with private pool or jetstream tub with the most beautiful view. The personnel is the most friendly personnel who did everything for us to make our stay rememberable. The only negative part is the steep hill with small road and bad pavement to drive to and from the hotel which is not really safe. A car and good driving skills are absolutely required, even to go to the beach, but when you arrived you can park the car easily and can enjoy the view.
The best is the room with private pool. This I like most of your hotel. The breakfast is very poor and the same every day. The two girls from front desk are the best, very kind.
We loved our stay here. The manageress and the staff are truly outstanding, making us feel extremely welcome and valued. And their warmth comes from the heart, they are not performing for tips or reviews. Our room was lovely, with the ‘jet tub’ being heated to about 30-35C, so it’s pleasant but not hot. Lovely views from our private terrace, which we enjoyed immensely when the wind allowed. BREAKFAST (0730-1130) is again outstanding, with the Breakfast Chef working tirelessly to ensure everything is topped up and fresh. The decor and vibe are exquisite. Only 2 downsides for us: my partner didn’t rate the gym because the machines are old and inadequate. The other thing we didn’t like was people smoking at breakfast on the terrace. It’s not fair that if you want to sit outside you have to put up with cigarette smoke - surely heavy smokers could have their food away from the majority? It was only a minor issue, and is a matter of hotel policy that I hope they manage to resolve in the future. But don’t let this stop you from staying at this exquisite hotel. We can’t wait to return.
