Hotel Utopia Blu is located in the area of Tigaki, one of the most popular resorts of the island. The hotel is only 1 km from one of the most beautiful and famous sandy beaches of Kos, 10 km from Kos Town and 15 km from "Hippokrates" International Airport. It is only a few minutes walking from shops, bars and restaurants in Tigaki. The hotel's facilities and services include 24h reception with safe services in the rooms, free Wi-Fi, 3 restaurants and 5 bars. Outdoors, in the beautiful gardens you can find an amphitheatre, swimming pool, children's pool with small slides surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas, snack bar and tennis- as well as paddel court. The hotel is located on the main road of Tigaki where just across you can find the biggest supermarket in the area, carrying lots of souvenirs, clothing and everything you need for your holidays. The hotel offers all inclusive and is suitable for all ages. The hotel has been rebuilt in 2021.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments and facials. If you're looking for recreational opportunities, you'll find a water slide, an outdoor tennis court and a steam room. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and wedding services. Getting to the surf and sand is a breeze with the complimentary beach shuttle.
We can honestly say our 2 weeks at Utopia Blu is one of the best holidays we’ve ever had.
Starting with the hotel itself, it is immaculate. The whole team works so hard to keep it absolutely spotless, beautiful and green with lovely garden spaces, everything is very well kept, all of the communal areas are kept pristine throughout, including during food service which can be challenging, and we had a lovely family room, and we were looked after by two wonderful ladies who took great care of us.
All of the team at Utopia Blu were wonderful. Our TUI representative Eldis was very helpful and informative, and the Guest Relations Manager Manos, was very thorough and helpful, especially with regards to our son’s allergies and making arrangements for us, this started prior to our even arriving at the hotel.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel in the evening we were made to feel welcome and relaxed. The very pleasant and helpful chap that helped with our luggage and the ladies at reception made our day of travel much more bearable.
Our youngest has food allergies, and it can be very hard to find suitable and enjoyable foods for him when on holiday. We had a meeting with Chef Nikos on our first day. Not only did he listen to all of our sons needs, taking the time to fully understand his allergies, and the foods he likes and dislikes, but he continued to take great care throughout our stay, to make sure that our son always had a wonderful and safe choice of foods available, we felt confident in everything that he was eating. and the whole team worked hard to ensure our son was able to enjoy wonderful foods on offer.
The food throughout our stay (including 2 visits to the Italian restaurant) was delicious, with great variety, quality and presentation.
Andreas looked after us on an evening when eating, always ensuring there was a clean table available when he saw us, ensuring we always had a drink to hand, and Giannis was always friendly, professional and looked after us really well on an evening in the bar. Taking the time to understand us as guests, and make us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout.
The team members that looked after us during breakfast and lunch were excellent. Always with a smile, working hard and making sure the coffee was available!
The team at Utopia Blu take genuine care and pride in what they do, to ensure that the guests of the hotel have the best possible experience, and feel fully relaxed, it can sometimes be quite rare nowadays. It isn’t something that can be taught, it’s in the nature, personality, and attitude of those individuals, who pride themselves on the high standards they provide, and it is noticeable.
The Remarc Entertainment team at Utopia Blu were simply the best! They are a group of very talented hardworking individuals, with the natural ability to perform, to engage, understand and include people. We were very impressed with the quality of the shows put on, especially the Michael Jackson music celebration evening and the Gala Show. The individual talents of these people are inspiring, and the enthusiasm, warmth and kindness of them creates quite a remarkable group of individuals.
Mr Jery, Miss Jen, Ryan, Kiki, Daniel, Peter, Jaden, Shaylene, Athi, Sima and Marvin. We are very grateful to you for making our holiday so relaxing, wonderful and enjoyable.
Our whole two weeks was wonderful from start to finish, we were sorry to leave, and hope to return in the future. What a wonderful hotel Utopia Blu is, and what a truly wonderful team working hard to make sure guests have the best possible holidays. Thank you for making our holiday!
Me and my friends had an amazing time at the hotel. Beautiful place, nice architecture. Rooms were clean and modern. Fresh towels and tidying up everyday. Food although could be better because of its little diversity and choice. The biggest applause goes to the whole entertainment team - especially Ryan!!! Daniel, Keana and Peter. They were super nice, encouraging to participate in the acitivities at the main pool but they didn’t force it if you wanted to skip something. You just wanted to join and have fun with them. Drinks at the bar were good and served quickly. The biggest weakness for me were the evenings, when at 23:00 the speakers were plugged out and the place became silent. A lot of guests would happily dance and have more fun for sure. I would totally go here again. It was hard to leave.
We had a really wonderful stay at this hotel with my friends, and I would happily come back again.
The reception staff were very efficient and extremely helpful. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and definitely very “Instagram-worthy.” Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and the lady responsible for housekeeping was absolutely lovely. We never had any trouble finding a free sun lounger by the pool, and it was also easy to find a table in the restaurant or at the bar.
When it comes to the food, this was probably the weakest point of the hotel. The meals were decent rather than exceptional.
The evening shows were a really nice part of our stay. The performers were genuinely talented, and we really enjoyed watching them. It was a shame that the shows lasted only about an hour, and after 11 p.m. there was very little going on at the hotel. We definitely missed having a place where we could dance and enjoy the evening a little longer.
The biggest highlight of this hotel, however, was definitely the entertainment team. They created an amazing atmosphere and made our stay truly special. Every day, they brought so much positive energy, and it was honestly impossible to say no to joining their Zumba or aqua gym sessions 😛
A special thank you goes to Ryan, Peter, Daniel, and Keanna 🫶🫶🫶🫶. Thanks to them, we had such a great time that we didn’t even feel like leaving the hotel to go to the beach or explore the surrounding area. I would happily return to this hotel just for this amazing team!
I came to Utopia with two of my friends to relax and have fun and that’s exactly what we achieved <33 the stay was wonderful, the room was cleaned every other day, the water in the fridge was restocked every day, a little minus for the bathroom because the shower is designed in such a way that you have to be careful not to flood the whole bathroom there was a lot of food so even when u thought u don’t know what to eat you always could find something that would seem tasty at breakfast you can order any type of coffee drinks from 10am to midnight - very good quality and they do not economise on alcohol the staff was incredible as at any meal we were instantly asked what do we want to drink and it was brought to our table quickly another advantage is the supermarket exactly on the other side of the street from the hotel where you can buy everything from some cosmetics to souvenirs the beach is just a 15 minute walk from the hotel but there is a bus that takes u there and back at some times of the day you can book two restaurants à la carte per stay (one italian the other one mediterranean) generally value for money was really good and would 100% recommend for your next vacation you have a choice between quiet pools and the main pool - there is a place for everyone the area of the hotel is really big and there are a lot of spots in which you can take beautiful photos AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST THE ANIMATION TEAM while arriving I did not think I would participate in any activities prepared by the animation team but the team was a lot more than I expected and I ended up counting down to aqua gym or zumba every day and the shows in the evening I would like to give special thanks to Ryan who is an amazing person a diva and such an angel to be around - you always made us smile and the vibe you have within yourself is impeccable - I will miss your zumba classes very very much I would also like to thank Daniel and Keanne for making our stay awesome, you are both amazing dancers and beautiful people, thank you so much for this special time The whole team was amazing and I could not expect any more from them Thank you all so much for making our stay a once in a lifetime experience ~ the diva who sang Mamma Mia on friday aka Kinga xx
This hotel is beautiful, the staff are an absolute credit to the hotel, everyone of them are really freindly and this ensures a great holiday experience and makes you want to return. Cleanliness is amazing at this hotel. Location of the hotel is good, right at the very top of the small town it is in, therefore meaning it is situated away from noisy bars and clubs, but also within reach of these if you want them. Food is very tasty but could be warmer, lots of pork as this seems to be the dish of choice on Kos. Think there could be a bit more choice on the main course and it could be changed up more. We had swim up room in the adults only area and would definitely book this again as it gave you choice if you wanted to be away from the crowd for a while. Having said this we have tried to book for next year and it seems it is fully booked already. The prices quoted for next year also seem to be much more expensive which means the ordinary holiday maker will soon not be able to afford to go here. All in all a brillliant holiday was had because the staff at this hotel do an amazing job🙂
