Utopia Blu

We had a lovely stay at Utopia. Spacious room with jacuzzi and balcony . Hotel was very clean and despite being a really busy time, staff maintained cleanliness throughout. The hotel surroundings is quiet but not too far from the main beach and shops. Kos town is about 30mins by bus. Worth a visit as it brings a different vibe.

Staff from reception to ground staff are friendly and helpful.

To note, upon check in, you will be charged tourist tax which was 70 euros for 7 nights for 3 persons.

Transfer to hotel from airport is about 30mins and for us, it was pretty smooth both ways.

No issues at all with getting a sunbed which made our stay even more relaxing.

The food was average which I think was a downside of the hotel. The lunch / snack bar pretty much served the same food. Evening food was themed every night but still seemed quite repetitive. Crepe place is a definite place to visit but it’s tucked away in the kids area.

One things that stood out for us was the entertainment team. The team brought an amazing vibe from morning stretch, aqua zumba, aqua gym, sunset yoga to evening shows. Special mention to Ryan, Daniel, and Kiki for making made our all inclusive stay completely unforgettable with their endless energy, friendly attitude, and fun daily activities, thank you!

Overall I would highly recommend the hotel if you are looking for a relaxing holiday.

A truly brilliant hotel, we can only recommend it!   This was already our second stay at this wonderful hotel, and we will definitely be coming back again next year. From the moment we arrived, everyone treated us with such kindness, warmth and professionalism.   We especially appreciate that the new General Manager Mr. George Kokkinelis is always visible around the hotel and shows a great presence. It is very nice to see a manager who is involved, approachable and clearly cares about the guests.   The Front Office Manager, Maria, also did everything she could to arrange the same room for us as during our previous stay. Unfortunately, it was already occupied, but she offered us several alternatives and handled everything in a very professional, friendly and helpful way.   As our flight was only in the evening, the General Manager and Maria kindly arranged a late check-out for us, which helped us a lot, especially because we were travelling with our child. We were very grateful for this thoughtful gesture.   The food in the hotel is also excellent and very varied. The Executive Chef, Nikos, and the F&B Manager, Nikolas, are always present, helpful and involved. You can even see them helping in the kitchen and cooking together with the team, which is very professional and impressive.   Every morning at breakfast, the service staff, especially Ornela and Niko, remembered our drinks from the first morning, so we did not even have to order them again. This was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture. They were extremely kind, attentive and professional.   The maître d’, Manolis, is simply wonderful and very child-friendly. He greeted us personally every morning with a handshake and did a very professional job.   As a family, we can highly recommend this hotel. The entertainment team also does a fantastic job and creates a great atmosphere.   We will definitely come back next year. This time we will try to bring grandma as well. She uses a wheelchair, but we are confident and hopeful that this will not be a problem. Grandpa will hopefully join us too.   We ourselves also work in the hotel industry, so we know very well how much hard work, dedication and passion are behind everything. I don’t think there are enough lovely, positive words to sum up the 2 weeks we have just spent at this hotel.

The hotel and grounds are absolutely stunning. Picture perfect from every angle. I must have taken thousands of photos. The grounds are spotless. I have never been to a hotel that is so clean. It is clear to see everybody who maintains it takes such pride in the hotel.

We stayed in a larger superior room, which was so spacious. Lovely, comfy bed. Those pillows felt like sleeping on a cloud. Sofa bed for our little girl. Fantastic view of the pool across and the hills behind.

The food was lovely. Plentiful. Lots of choice. I’m a vegetarian and abit of a fussy one at that and never once did I struggle to find something I enjoyed to eat. We were all more than happy with the drinks also.

We never ever struggled to get a sunbed, either at the main pool or up at the children’s pool. We are naturally early risers so were always up and on beds early anyway. But there were still plenty available even past 10am.

The staff are always so welcoming, attentive and always have a smile. We started our evening every night sat having drinks on the front of the hotel, which has such a lovely, relaxed vibe. The staff there were so friendly. Everybody works incredibly hard. Their work ethic is second to none! Rafaela who works in the pool bar each evening is absolutely outstanding. Remembered our drinks order from that first time she took it.

And lastly but by no means least… the entertainment team. Wowzers! Those guys and girls work their absolute socks off day in and day out bringing nothing but energy and positivity. We looked forward to them arriving every morning. They offer all sorts of activities, morning stretching, aqua gym and Zumba, volley ball, darts etc. They aren’t pushy, they simply invite you to join them. We really enjoyed getting involved and getting to know them. They were a big part of making our holiday what it was and we really missed them on their day off on a Saturday. They put on two shows on a weekend. A Michael Jackson show and a gala performance and both of them are not to be missed. They were fantastic. A special mention to Ryan (a living, breathing ray of sunshine) and Daniel, they were a constant source of happiness every minute of the day. Kiki whose energy with the children is unmatched. And Arti for his lovely nature. And Mr Jery whose calming voice over the microphone in a morning could calm the busiest of minds.

This holiday was everything we wanted and then some. We will be back time and time again.
