The hotel is situated 850 m from Tigaki beach – a famous summer resort of Kos Island, with a beautiful sandy beach and near a beautiful natural habitat with amazing flora and fauna. This is a comfortable family hotel offering 73 rooms. In the main building there is a living-room area, where guests can access the Internet. The residence offers a playground where the youngest visitors are welcome. A car park is available for guests arriving by car. The hotel offers simple and comfortable rooms, equipped with all the necessary commodities. All rooms have a view either of the sea, the salt lake, the mountain or the hotel's outdoor swimming pool. In the pool bar, which is also a small tavern, guests can taste delicious Greek dishes, sip a cocktail and have the opportunity to watch sports or news on the satellite TV.

Lovely Tigaki!
Lovely hotel and the staff were great. Really enjoyed it. Can’t go wrong with Tigaki it’s a beautiful place.

Lovely hotel and beautiful setting
Tigaki Star is a beautiful hotel with lovely staff and stunning grounds. Breackfast was lovely with good options and plenty to choose from. Options varied slightly each day and I enjoyed making breakfast cobs up each morning. The pool area was well kept and the pool itself was far bigger than I expected for such a small hotel. There was a chilled vibe and you didn’t have to fight for sunbeds like elsewhere which was nice. The hotel room came with a kettles and fridge. The room was basic but clean and the bed was super comfy. If you’ve read other reviews saying the room is dated, I really wouldn’t worry as the room still lived up to expectations. The beach is a short walk away though in the August heat it did feel a little far at times. Would deffo recommend and come back.

Where can I start... We have a few days left of our holiday still. But I want to leave a review before leaving.. first of all the staff are very friendly.. we were welcomed on our first day by Anthi on reception. What a lovely girl. Always happy & smiley, helpful & asks us how our holiday is going and to have a nice day. Even the local cats come to give a nice greeting when we go in and out of the hotel. Our room is spacious. Cleaned & made up daily. Beds made, towels changed daily. The maid, who's always cheerful also tidys up after us. Toilet rolls replenished frequently. Hand soap shampoo body wash & lotion in the bathroom. Nice balcony with a pull out dryer. An added bonus is the black out curtains, we slept so well & always slept in later than we usually would. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and are maintained well. At the back of the hotel there is access to a path leading to the beach, 5-10 minute walk The pool area is always clean and tidy NO SUNBED WARS. We could turn up anytime and get a lounger no problem. Snack bar very good, lots of options. Staff very attentive, can't remember their names but make us feel welcome & looked after. The breakfast area is pleasant. Lots of choices, breads, spreads. croissants, cheeses, meats, salad. Yogurts fruits different types of eggs & bacon. Tea coffee & juices. Staff very good. Always replenishing. Rafaella, especially is always happy & smiley in the morning at breakfast, very friendly, makes time for a little chat.
You can rent bicycles,bikes & cars from the hotel. A lovely lady sits out the front (also very friendly) We felt we could ask for any advice & the staff are always happy to help. There is lots of info on the hotel board, bus times ect. Bus stop to Kos town 5 mins walk. All in all hotel is in a convenient location. 5 mins to the main strip & beach. Overall Tingakis star is ideal for anyone who wants a hassle free holiday. You're sure to be treated like family.. We can't fault the place.. We would definitely return.
Gem of a hotel
An underrated gem of a hotel. The pictures of the hotels pool do not do it justice. The children’s pool was fantastic for my daughter learning to swim. An enjoyable short walk to the strip and beach, all beautiful. The groups of the hotel are kept to the highest standard and are beautiful. A short walk to the salt lake is a must. Kind, helpful staff throughout. Honestly one of the nicest, simplest hotels we have stayed in for a while, worth every penny and more.
Fantastic Hotel and location!!
This hotel is excellent! I would 100% recommend it to anyone. I came here with my boyfriend on a last minute holiday and it was such a brilliant hotel. The rooms are clean, the pool area is huge and not too busy, the staff are friendly and there is a nice pool bar. It is also in a brilliant location- 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach and 5 minutes to lots of bars and restaurants. Great for families, couples and any age.
