Labranda Marine Aquapark Resort

Sitting by the main pool of what is the last day of our lovely family holiday , the food has been fantastic plenty of options (desserts are delicious!) . One thing that really stands out at this resort is the cleanliness everywhere you go is spotless. There are plenty of sun beds to go around yet people still feel the need to fight to put towels down at the crack of dawn I tried to ignore this but like everyone you get roped in to this to secure a spot . The pool bar running 10am all day offers a great range of drinks as well as the help yourself fizzy/ coffee machines. The food at the pool bar is nice (pizza in particularly) however they are slow in bringing the pizza out resulting in long lines around the bar food area, this resort lacks a few alternative areas to grab a drink / snack etc as the only place to do this is the middle of both pools all day and same again at the night (a sports bar would be awesome)

WIFI throughout is spot on , the entertainment is limited despite the animation team working very hard. Have I had a nice holiday ?YES absolutely it’s been brilliant , would I come again? Probably not . Highlights definitely the food , drinks and cleanliness, downside lack of areas to sit and enjoy . The hotel is definitely worth a try slides are fantastic, a few additions and I would have certainly marked this stay as a 5 rather than a 4.

The staff are friendly and very helpful and you always get the weather !

Really enjoyed this stay and sad to be leaving

We stayed here for two weeks on an all-inclusive basis and, while we enjoyed our holiday overall, we came away feeling that the hotel didn’t quite live up to its 4-star rating.

The accommodation is looking tired and would benefit from some investment and modernisation. It met our needs for the duration of our stay, but the housekeeping was very minimal and not what we would expect from a 4-star hotel.

The food in the main buffet restaurant was okay — plenty of choice, but pretty much what you would expect from an all-inclusive buffet. Unfortunately, the à la carte restaurant was disappointing and didn’t really offer the quality or experience we had hoped for.

The entertainment was another let-down. The entertainment team seemed to do little more than the basics, with very limited interaction with guests. There was a real lack of atmosphere, which was a shame because the hotel and its grounds have so much potential for creating a great holiday experience.

The location and grounds are undoubtedly the hotel’s biggest strengths. The setting is beautiful, and there is so much that could be done with the space available. Sadly, we felt that much of this potential wasn’t being utilised to its full extent.

However, there was one definite highlight of our stay — Panos, the barman at the adults-only pool. He was fantastic and really deserves recognition. Friendly, personable and professional, he genuinely made an effort to make everyone feel welcome. He took time to chat with guests, offered helpful advice about the local area and always seemed to go the extra mile. His customer service was a real credit to the hotel.

Overall, we had a pleasant holiday, but based on our experience, we wouldn’t consider this to be a true 4-star standard at present. The hotel has a beautiful location and plenty of potential, but it needs some investment and a stronger focus on the overall guest experience.

We’ve just got back from a 7 day stay here. It was my first time taking my 13 & 11 year old abroad on my own. Kos is my go to island in Greece. I’ve been coming here since the 80’s & absolutely love it but this was my first time at White Olive.

Overall it’s a nice complex & I felt very safe being here on my own with the kids. Our rooms were swept & mopped everyday & fresh towels which was nice. The rooms were nice & the aircon was good & the staff were all pleasant.

Unfortunately I just thought a few things let it down.

I didn’t like the pool area. There was a wall around the pool so when sunbathing you couldn’t actually see your kids in the pool unless you got up super early to reserve a sunbed with a view to the pool which I didn’t want to be doing.

The women’s toilets didn’t have a lock on the doors so my 13 year old daughter felt uncomfortable & had to keep going back to the room.

The selection of food was great & we really enjoyed the breakfasts & pool bar lunches but I found the evening food to be very bland. I love fish dishes but every fish dish I tried was not nice. There was also a few nights when we went to get dessert & practically everything had gone & not replaced so we ended up just having fruit & ice cream.

Drinks were not great either. Alcoholic drinks were very watered down & soft drinks were like drinking a cup of syrup. I’ve been to other AI hotels where the drinks have been better & kids get free ice cream all day but sadly this hotel doesn’t do that. However the gelato bar was really good & although you had to pay extra it was very reasonably priced for what you got.

Also the sunbeds could do with an upgrade.

Overall it was a nice get away with the kids but for what we paid I know we can get better elsewhere.
