Gaia Village

I stayed at Gaia Village at the beginning of August with my adult niece, and I especially want to mention the entertainment team - Larry and Alexandra (Ola) - as well as Alessandro from the bar by the children’s pool.

From the beginning, Larry and Ola made us feel very welcome. After a while, it didn’t really feel like typical hotel entertainment anymore, but more like spending time and having fun with friends. They encouraged us to join the activities and to come out of our shells a little. Because of that, we laughed so much and got to know many other quests.

Larry has a real talent for motivating people and bringing them together. During the aqua gym, I watched him encourage guest who were a little shy at first to join in. Soon everyone was in the water together, moving, creating different group figures, laughing ans simply having fun. At the end, everyone came out of the pool smiling, and people who had never met before were suddenly talking to each other. It was really lovely to watch.

In the eventings, Larry didn’t just lead the activities - he laughed and danced with the guests and encouraged everyone to join in. His open, positive and enthusiastic personality really stayed in our minds.

One of my favorite moments was the karaoke night. Larry encouraged my niece to sing in front of everyone. She has a beautiful and very special voice, but normally she would never have had the courage to sing in front of so many people. The evening she did it! ♥️ It was also lovely to see even the youngest guests being brave enough to sing. Later, three British women sang a Queen song together. The whole evening had such a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

The game nights were also unforgettable, especially Women vs. Men. We laughed so much! Through these activities, we gradually got to know more and more guests - families with children as well as adults traveling without children. Everyone cheered each other on, laughed together and naturally started talking to one another.

Ola (Alexandra) seemed to have endless energy from morning until evening. Whether it was aqua gym, the kids disco, bingo or the evening games, she always gave her best and shared her good mood with everyone. It was especially lovely, to see her dancing with the children during the kids disco.

Larry and Ola didn’t simply provide entertainment - they created moments that brought people together.

And a big thank you to Alessandro at the bar by the children’s pool. He was always cheerful and friendly and always had an open ear if you wanted to talk. You could chat and laugh with him, and he made you feel welcome.

We laughed so much during this holiday, met wonderful people and made memories that we still talk about today.

Thank you, Larry and Ola, for your energy, warmth and all the fun and beautiful moments - and thank you, Alessandro, for always being so open, kind and cheerful. ♥️

Sometimes, in the end, it isn’t the room or the pool that you remember most about a holiday. It’s the people who make it special. And that was definitely the case for us at Gaia Village.

We have just returned from a week at the Gaia village, there was 3 couples Rooms We all had superior rooms and they were decorated nicely and were comfortable. The beds were good a slightly firmer mattress then I am used to and the pillows were very plump which are not to my taste but still managed to get a good nights sleep. The bathroom has a large walk in shower and are to a good standard although it sometimes does flood in the bathroom if you have multiple showers back to back. The door of the bathroom was annoying as it made it very tight in the bathroom. Air conditioning was included in our price we booked with tui, it was ok but not the best air con but there is also ceiling fans which help push air around. The maids came in every day to take the rubbish and sweep, they change the towels and beds about twice a week. There is a small fridge and kettle with tea and coffee. Food and drink We only ate breakfast and lunch each day as we enjoy going to local restaurants for evening dinner. Breakfast was pretty much the same each day, cooked breakfast, cereal, pancakes, waffles, continental and bread. The orange and apple juice is very strong so we ended up watering it down. Lunch was ok plenty to choose from with a variety of dishes like chicken drumsticks, ribs, chips, salad, rice, soup and vegetables, we all managed to find something to eat each day and it does vary from day to day. The drinks are the biggest let down the beer is ok but you would have to drink a lot to get merry on it, coke and Fanta were drinkable, tried all the wine and it was like vinegar, the only spirits are rum, oozou and brandy. You can buy other drinks but they are quite pricey and the cocktails were ok but nothing special. Location This apartments are in a great location situated about 8 mins to the beach and about 5 mins to the strip where there are restaurants, shops and bars but far away that you aren’t affected by any noise. There are two swimming pools and plenty of sun beds although they are very close together and can be hard to find shade at times. We would definitely return if the price was right as we would still eat and drink out at night so would have to factor this in
