The blue nest Hotel is a small comfortable hidden among overshadowing trees. The hotel is Located just 120m from the sea, 2km from Tigaki village, 8km from Kos Town and 18km from the airport. All of which can be reached within minutes by car, taxi, bicycle or by bus. The hotel is newly renovated in a modern style with all the amenities you could need. , Air-Conditioning, Flat Screen TV, Mini-Bar and Balconies with astonishing sea & garden views. Guests can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere around the sundeck of the pool or in the gardens surrounding the hotel grounds. There is an ambient pool bar with breathtaking views of the mountain and snack menu available. Next to the pool Bar is a big screen TV Area where guests can watch the sport events .
Relax on the private beach or enjoy other recreational amenities such as an outdoor pool and bicycles to rent. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and barbecue grills.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Recently returned from this lovely hotel. Very helpful staff. Rooms basic but clean. Good continental breakfast/meals. Lovely spacious pool. Just 10 mins out of Tigaki. Frequent buses. Amazing Greek night. Would definitely recommend. Hope to return Thank you, George.
Basic but clean accommodation, good service. Limited breakfast offering. The real downside for me is the constant thump, thump thump music in the bar and round the pool. They have a playlist of about 20 songs. Even the few "older" songs have been remixed with a drum track over the top. For God's sake, play the original version, not this modernised rubbish. There needs to be a much wider selection of music played and also a couple of hours in the afternoon where the music isn't playing at all.
Firstly, I'd like to thank all of the hardworking staff at the hotel, especially George and Allen. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they even assisted me with a medical issue (fish bone), which was greatly appreciated.
The rooms are basic, but that's exactly what you would expect from a 3-star hotel. The shower worked well, and the bed topper provided added comfort, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The pool was very good. Although there were some wasps around the pool area, they never bothered us during our stay.
The food and drinks were also very good, with plenty of choice and good quality throughout.
The beach is only a five-minute walk away, and we spent most of our beach time at the Tribe Beach Club.
We also visited both Kos Town and Tigaki by bus. The bus stop is just a five-minute walk from the hotel, and the service is regular and convenient.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return to Blue Nest in the future.
I had a great stay at this hotel ! Overall i had a amazing time with only some slight issues but i will start with the good things, The staff was amazing and very welcoming a example of this was when we first arrived at the hotel it was very late and we hadn't eaten and the kitchen was closed and still made us a toastie which was very thoughtful, another example was the lady at reception she was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had many options so everyone could have something they enjoyed . The pool was very big and accessible to everyone the only downside of the pool is the wasps the wasps were on the drains of the pool so it was difficult to get in and out of the pool this did eventually lead to people getting stung by the wasps but it was avoidable if you didn't irritate them you would not be getting stung . The rooms our room had two beds for 4 which was enough for us however the room was quite limited to things like kettles and water so you had to get water from reception. The beds , one of the beds was a sofa bed which was quite uncomfortable as it was hard materess , however mattress toppers was offered at reception. The good things about the room was that there was a TV and a fridge this was very handy and there was lots of storage for clothes and other personal belongings however there was no safe in the room for valuable items .
The hotel is a little remote but we hired a car so wasnt an issue

Very friendly staff who try very hard but unfortunately that’s where it stops beds were rock hard none of us slept the first night… thankfully read on here mattress toppers were available so we all acquired one which made it a bit better! The place is tired and needs a good revamp! Too far from tigaki to walk and buses every hour or so…. taxis are scarce! Breakfast was pretty poor only fruit was water melon and a few mornings brown grapes yoghurt toast mini croissants etc air con €5 a night and we needed it!
