Kouros Palace

Very lovely hotel, with really nice staff throughout for the most part. The activity entertainment staff were great for the most part, always smiling. The girl leading the aqua aerobics however wasn't great as it was too difficult for most of the guests getting involved. The location was quiet but many places to walk to. The food was great and the time we spent there was very positive.

This is my honest review of our stay at Kouros Palace. First of all let me say this hotel is rated 5 star by Tui and 4 star + by Jet 2 so we were expecting an above average experience having been to 4 star hotels previously. The reality is that you are paying 5 star prices for 3 star services unfortunately. We had a lovely holiday but too many things were not up to standard. The food was the worst I've experienced ever. Beef stew was regurgitated so many times for lunch and dinner every day. They had a new pizza oven in which they cooked frozen pizza! No live cooking stations, I could go on and on. To add insult to injury there was no snack bar outside of restaurant opening times. Never been anywhere all inclusive and not had this whatever star rating. Entertainment was pathetic and nobody bothered with it once they knew. Never enough staff at the bars which resulted in long queues. No self service for beer and wine or even water. Finally I'll move on to cleanliness. Rooms only cleaned every other day, which we knew about so expecting a proper clean but this was not the case. Dead flies behind the sink for 2 weeks, balcony table not even wiped. Pool areas Never hosed down in 2 weeks. You may be wondering why I said we had a great holiday after my comments and it's because the rooms were great, the grounds and pools are so nice and I never let anything spoil my holiday. Please don't pay the prices they are asking for this hotel or you will be disappointed, can't give more than 3 star taking everything into account.
