We really liked our stay at Horizont Beach Resort. The resort is spacious, but by our second day, we already knew our way around. Close to our clean and comfy room, there was an outdoor gym with plenty of equipment. Great for morning workout😉. We joined an aqua gym class in the pool led by the animation team. We tried all five of the amazing pools, but we mostly spent our time at the sea. The beach is clean and sandy, with a gentle entry into the water, making it great for swimming. We wanted a twin beded room, but the bed couldn't be separated. However, the very kind receptionist, Spiros, arranged for the sofa to be made into a comfortable bed for us—thank you! We found the breakfasts and dinners very tasty, and we loved sitting in the section looked after by Zisis, Tasos, and Antonis. They were friendly and took great care of us in the restaurant. Great hotel, wonderful staff, excellent food. The hotel is only let down by poor wifi, bring real books or download plenty before you arrive.
Had a great holiday here. Everything is immaculate & well presented. Staff were very attentive. Prices for drinks were average. Rooms were good sized & cleaned every day. Food was excellent, plenty of choice at breakfast & evening mealtimes.
It is a big, clean, modern resort with a nice garden, seaview, beach bar, pools and amazing sunsets. The staff are very friendly and they take you to your room with golf cars. Our room was nice, big, clean, with confortable bed and a nice seaview. There are 2 restaurants and 2 beach bars where you can get a snack. The hotel has 4 big pools, but it can be difficult to get a lounge at the pool if you are not there early in the morning. There is plenty of good food for breakfast and dinner, however there is too many people, so it can be difficult to find a table. The restaurant closer to the reception is not that nice, it is older and overcrowded, the staff there are not very friendly and they even have a smoking area in the middle of the terrace. We preferred the restaurant on the hill. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so there is nothing to do except walking around the resort if you don’t have a car. However, the resort garden is very well kept. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, so using public transport is one option, but there are only a few buses a day. It is mostly German hotel, a lot of noisy German turists arriving with turist agency with big buses and even the menues in the hotel are in German. They can get very loud at the pool, throwing a ball and drinking. The hotel doesn’t really have a Greek vibe. You have to pay for towels and beach lunges. The beach is quite windy and there are a lot of waves in the sea, the beach is not that nice for swimming.
Horrible experience staying in this hotel , it is a big scam for every services. extra fees for everything including the beach towel , sun-bed , umbrella. No kettle, no iron, bad pillows. customer orientation doesn’t exist, unprofessional receptionist that act with attitude with customers, not helpful at all. trying to do profit from everything, overpriced drinks on the bar, Not recommended at all.
