Grecotel Casa Paradiso

Best all inclisove vacation I ever had. This is a truly.great hotel.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Grecotel Casa Paradiso in Kos and made some wonderful memories.

Our room was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The all-inclusive food was fantastic, with a huge selection of dishes every day. Everything was tasty, fresh and well cooked, so there was always something different to enjoy.

The reception staff were friendly, welcoming and brilliant throughout our stay. A special mention to Odysseus and Adonis, who were both fantastic and made us feel so welcome.

The location is also perfect. The beach is just a 2-minute walk away, with a beautiful, clean sandy beach and plenty of sunbeds available whenever we wanted one. Getting into Kos Town was easy too — the bus was only €2.50 and took around 30 minutes

Overall, we had an amazing holiday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We relaxed, enjoyed ourselves and created some really special memories. ❤️🇬🇷

Grecotel casa paradiso Aug 26 After extensive research and 20+ stays at all inclusive resorts. I was looking for relaxing, good food and drinks, modern yet authentic decor and a chilled evening vibe. Reviews said boring, lacking in entertainment- great! Just what I wanted. Unfortunately, these reviews were obviously not for Aug! I have never been anywhere with so many children under 10. (Not really marketed as a family hotel in England but obviously is elsewhere) Running around, screaming in rooms and banging down corridors. Given free rein in the buffet- mostly unsupervised, picking up food and putting it back. Don’t get me wrong, I know it’s summer- we had our own older teens with us but this was the opposite of relaxed! Not the hotels fault but be aware. Positives- Great gardens and landscaping, the veg growing was amazing to see. Never had a problem getting 4 beds at the beach pool grass area between 10 and 11am and always beds on the beach. Pool bar snacks and help yourself soft drinks were great. Baguettes, fruit, yoghurt, gyros and the crepes!!! Waffles only appeared 1 day out of 10. The girls at the beach bar were fab. Always smiley, suggested adaptations to drinks (vanilla frappes) and always chatted away despite some people being quite grumpy to them. Fantastic service! All staff were friendly. Even the workmen said hello. Reception staff were smiley and pleasant. A really nice atmosphere. Food was limited but excellent as other reviews have said. No live cooking as such but all fresh, replaced quickly and really enjoyed the table from the garden produce. No roast/ steak/chicken breast/ made to order omelettes etc but it is a smaller AI. Restaurant area outside was lovely, staff were friendly and quick to find tables/clean away plates. Again excellent service. Cocktails were good. Never really queued for the bar and drinks in the evening were cleared quickly.

Negatives Unfortunately some really clever marketing photos just sets you up for disappointment. Beds at the beach pool and on the beach are cheap. The main hotel furniture is old and covered by ill- fitting white throws. The inside bar and restaurant area still has old brown furniture. It’s just not what the pics show. Sunbeds are not all padded at both pools. We stayed in the main hotel- 2 rooms. But the only update was a lampshade. Just clever picture angles make it look more modern than it is. All was clean and shower was great but 3* masquerading as 4. Outside restaurant doesn’t have enough shade for lunch or breakfast but too hot to sit inside. Lots of parasols but they don’t really do the job. In need of solid cover. “Relax” pool is next to the toddler pool- odd??! So full of kids on the nice beds by 9am. Not so many beds here and all a bit manic in Aug. We didn’t use the entertainment- preferring to play cards in the outside bar but very little lighting. Most of the kids seemed to go to the theatre area so it was pleasant. It would have been nice if the beach bar opened in the evening.

Overall we had a great stay. I would come again for the food, setting and the staff. I imagine out of school holidays it would be wonderful. Grecotel should upgrade all furnishings in the restaurant area and reception area so that it does actually look like the pictures on its website.
