We were a party of three and stayed at this hotel for 6 nights.
This adults hotel is located outside of the main tourist areas in Kos, offering peace and quiet as few places we’ve visited have. Pretty common areas, including a nice pool, and very pleasant rooms with a large balcony. Lovely sandy beach that was never overpopulated. Ample parking.
We did not have dinner at the hotel, but both breakfast and lunch were excellent. Breakfast had wide choice of dishes, all of top quality. Lunch food was very tasty and very reasonably priced. The dessert chef is truly a master. We ended up eating 4 of 5 lunches there.
Service was consistently excellent at the reception and the dining area. We had very pleasant conversations with Lampros and George, including good advice on wine and sightseeing from Lampros. They, as well as Tolis, deserve special thanks, but the entire staff was kind and professional.
Two points which could be improved:
Housekeeping. On the first day after our arrival, almost everything was done wrong (2 sets of towels instead of 3; careless wash of the coffee cups rather than replacing them; etc.). Things got much better after we commented on this issue. Nevertheless, rooms are inadequately cleaned (e.g., thick layer of dust on the lower part of the night table, inadequately cleaned toilets and sink).
The hotel was apparently designed during the heyday of the very deplorable trend of making toilet and shower doors transparent. This may be a minor issue for young couples, who made up most of the guests. For us, a family with a young adult, this was problematic. Using opaque glass doors in a few rooms would have made it easier for guests who are not couples.
Despite these two issues, the hotel deserves a score of 5 due to the location, service, food, and pool & beach. Recommended.
we spent 5 nights in a lovely swim-up room , massive lagoon pool and nice beach Hotel It was stunning and relaxing Every single staff member was friendly and helpful . breakfast and lunch was good .Is it 5 star ? think I need to improve a few things ,we had several issues ,you get drop off in car park we waited over 10 mins in sun to be pick up by golf cart to be taken to reception ,once there we were offered a welcome drink that never actually arrived so once i got to room got a cold bottle water out fridge ( i was charge 1.50 for ) but what does not work is dinner set up .we only had dinner at hotel one night and mixing half-board buffet dinners with a la carte dinners in same seating area .the waiters dont know whos who they just clear plates and not trained to a la carte standard. for example we were given canapes but no description given just placed on the table ,it turn out to be a salmon mousse -its a good job we did not have a fish allergy ! For the main i had steak but it came with no steak knife We then waited 40 mins for the dessert menu I think waiters may thought we were buffet dinners and we go help ourselves. i eventually had to find a manager while he apologized and mentioned things would be different next year , it ruined our dining experience. So the hotel is 5 stars , but management needs to do better
My wife and I spent two weeks at the hotel at the beginning of July 2026. It is a very beautiful place and the service is excellent. We had a lovely time but it should have been better. The problem was the buffet dinner. Unfortunately we had prepaid for half board and that was a buffet. We had paid about 50 euros per person per day, and for that money the buffet dinner was frankly disappointing… The breakfast and the a’la carte lunch was fantastic . BUT the buffet dinner was terrible. The cuisine is not particularly Greek, and the few Greek dishes that there were cooked were tasteless and disappointing. Unfortunately the hotel wouldn’t allow us to switch our meal plan to a’la carte unless we paid again (on top of what we had already paid). This was ridiculous as the most expensive plate on the a’la carte menu was 45 euros! Another thing to bear in mind is that the hotel is rather isolated. The nearest village is 2 miles away. So to make the most of the holiday you need a car.
I stayed at this hotel reluctantly for only one night as was trying a few hotels on the island. I have to say I was absolutely blown away with this hotel. There was not much to do and it was relatively small but this definitely added to the whole class of the hotel. From the moment I arrived I could not fault the hotel, the special gifts in the room on arrival were again an added classy touch. I had a swim up room and would definitely recommend one. The food was amazing, the ambience amazing, reception staff amazing. I have stayed in many hotels and this one stood out for me so much that I am leaving my first review and will definitely be going back this year with my husband.
Some hotels look good in photos. This one looks better in person.
D'Andrea Lagoon is a genuinely beautiful, modern property — but what struck us most is how thought through everything is. Elegance and function in the same breath: clean design, immaculate upkeep, and a layout that just works. Nothing feels accidental.
Then there's the quiet. Real quiet. The kind that lets you actually unwind, with an atmosphere that stays calm and civilised from morning to night.
Breakfast was excellent every single day. Dinner was even better — carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and paired with live entertainment that added atmosphere without ever becoming noise.
The beach is close, sandy, and lovely. The location is the sweet spot: far enough from the chaos to feel like an escape, close enough to reach plenty of the island's best spots by car in minutes.
But the real cherry on top is the people. The whole team is warm, courteous, endlessly smiling and available — and a few deserve to be named:
George, always kind, always helpful, the kind of person who quickly stops feeling like staff and starts feeling like family. Stefanos, the manager — a true professional and a natural problem solver, and unfailingly gracious with it. Tolis, who made breakfast a highlight of every morning. Cristina, who made our dinners a pleasure night after night.
Beautiful property, faultless service, unforgettable people. We left already planning our return. Thank you all.
