Mr & Mrs Napper and families.
Our stay at Atlantica Thalassa was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and it was easily one of the best holidays we’ve had. Everything about the hotel was fantastic, from the beautiful surroundings and lovely atmosphere to the friendly and welcoming staff who always made us feel comfortable and looked after. The entertainment was especially brilliant, with Jaylin and Kat being two of the biggest highlights of our stay. They were both incredibly friendly, energetic and entertaining, and they always made the activities and evening entertainment exciting and enjoyable. Whether it was getting everyone involved during the daytime or putting on fun and entertaining shows in the evening, they brought such a great atmosphere to the hotel and really made our holiday feel special. You could tell they genuinely enjoyed what they were doing, and their positive energy was infectious. The food was also really good, with plenty of different choices and something for everyone, and the whole hotel was kept clean, tidy and welcoming. The staff were always helpful and polite, and the overall atmosphere made it feel like a proper holiday from the moment we arrived. There was always something to do, whether we wanted to relax, enjoy the pool, take part in activities or watch the entertainment. Overall, Atlantica Thalassa was an incredible experience, and Jaylin and Kat deserve a special mention for making the entertainment so enjoyable. They really went above and beyond to make everyone have a great time, and we would definitely love to come back again!
Located about 30mins drive from the airport and 10 min drive from Kos Harbour, our first impressions were good. We had a warm welcome from Maria on reception.
The rooms are small with little in the way of storage. Like others, we had to ask for coat hangars and received them within 10 mins. The bed was comfortable and spacious. The daily maid service was efficient, although you do only get one bottle of water on arrival. There are water fountains around the hotel though.
The hotel was clean and rooms were kept clean. Noise wasn’t really an issue for us but we were on the top floor in the 3rd building.
We didn’t have an issue getting sunbeds, but then we weren’t looking to sit on the waters edge. The sunbeds on the grass aren’t as comfortable as those around the pool.
The food was ok with various items to choose from each meal. The drinks were made to order and weren’t premixed so were good sized measures. Shame the glasses are so small! The paper cups used by the pool bar later in the day disintegrate quite quickly.
Highlight for us were the staff who just could not do enough to help, often with very little thanks from guests. Politeness costs nothing but means so much.
Special mentions to Stamatia (F&B Manager) who was simply brilliant. Also, Rich (concierge), Christina (lobby bar) and the aforementioned Maria. They were all so helpful and cheery.
This is a typical mid-range all inclusive hotel. There’s nothing overly fancy about it and if you like wearing football shirts, you’ll fit right in.
Having had to pay to go in the UK school summer holidays, this hotel did not prove to be good value for money sadly.
My sister and I came here on a 2 week holiday and it was perfect! The reception staff (especially Gregory and Maria and the lady with the short hair and lip piercing) were very helpful and gave us lots of recommendations for the island. Although the hotel is about a 35 minute walk from Kos town, we rented bikes for €5 a day and explored the island.
The highlight of the holiday …The animation team were incredible - Kat and Jaylin were brilliant, not only with all the kids activities but also with the adults, often playing cards with us in the evening, always making time for a conversation and making sure everyone was having a good time throughout the stay. I have a nut allergy and all the food was clearly labelled and the facilities were always clean (pool, rooms, hotel grounds). Would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing stay, don’t mind either walking or cycling around to explore, enjoying the beautiful sun and sea and lots of cute kittens/cats !
My family and my mum arrived in the early hours. We were greeted my Martha and her hospitality skills were second to none, she couldn't do enough for us and always with a smile and polite mindset. My mum had room 211 and myself, fiancé and children had room 311. I personally thought the facilities were spot on, up to date in decor and even the cleaning staff put in alot of effort with their daily routine. Our rooms were always Reset, kept clean and we did receive fresh towels which was lovely. We hired beach towels at no cost and I highly recommend this. For 4 euros you can hire a lounger on the beach and that is yours all day too. The drinks for an all inclusive holiday were perfect. Plenty of optio s for non-drinkers as well for those that enjoy a cocktail or two. Stamatia who managed and over saw the running of the catering team was absolutely humble and very welcoming. Always with open arms, she was the highlight of every dining experience. Fussy eaters and younger mouths to feed, my children loved that they could eat exactly what they wanted. Us adults were equally just as happy. Honestly, zero complaints. All the staff are approachable, no request is too small and is always met with a helpful attitude. The hotel manager was forever present which I thought spoke volumes. The hotel have a zero tolerance for sum bed hoggers. Although a family of 12 did do this and it went under the radar. I can't complain - we managed to get 3 near the pool and we were comfortable. The pool itself was wonderful! Monday-saunday (bar Thursday) myself and my oldest daughter enjoyed the water Zumba (11:30am) which was led by Kat, Jaylin and Stefan. Kat is one of the sweetest people you're likely to meet in your entire life - she will always be a vibe! We also enjoyed karaoke on Monday evening! Helen waited on us during the evening and handled her drinks tray one-handed with such stealth! A family orientated hotel, children's disco at 8:30 and varied evening entertainment which was amazing as well as crowd pleasing. I really would return, especially if the entertainment staff are there! :)
Thankyou for having us. I will hold so much of my memories in my heart. Until next time :)
