We like this resort and go to Ikos every year but they have a sneaky plan which affected our holiday and we are still pretty cross. We stayed for two weeks and before we went we requested a particular room, as we had stayed in it before and loved the view. We gave several room numbers which we would like and got an answer back saying they would do their best to give us the room we wanted.
What they didn't tell us was that they have changed the specification of quite a lot of their rooms. We paid for a Superior, side sea view, triple. One of those rooms, with the new specification could be overlooking the turning circle, the glass bottle recycling area or the bins. Our's was not quite as bad as that, and those who were put in one of were moved out within a couple of days, and we talked to the people who were opposite that room, who watched it happen and they said they felt terribly sorry for the people being parked there and then moved.
We were told most days of the two weeks we were in resort that they were looking for another room for us. They never found one. We explained to the, delightful Concierge Manager about "bread crumbing" which is how we felt.
Firstly if you are going to redesignate awful rooms as "Superior" at least have the decency to tell your guests that they could wind up over looking the bins and secondly, if you have a returning guest who makes a very specific request beforehand, go to the trouble of explaining that you have come up with a ruse to make extra money and give them the chance to pay for what they want, rather than give them something they don't want, which as this is Ikos is jolly expensive anyway, especially if you are there for two weeks.
Lovely swimming instructor! Our daughter made great progress and really enjoyed the lessons. We would be happy to come back again!
Absolutely fantastic holiday. We could not fault one single thing. Everything was perfect. The standard all round is 5 ⭐ the fabulous staff cannot do enough for you. We would especially like to mention the following staff who went over & above to ensure we had the best holiday…. Thermis - beach pool Jacques - lobby bar Marta - lobby bar Olga - lobby bar. We have already booked another Ikos holiday for next year. 100% recommend Ikos Aria. It did not disappoint.
We had an absolutely wonderful family holiday in Greece and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The resort itself was beautiful, the service was outstanding, and every member of staff was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
The food was fantastic, with plenty of choice for the whole family, and the all-inclusive experience made the holiday feel completely relaxing and effortless. There was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the resort, and everything was incredibly well maintained.
It was the perfect family holiday — relaxing, enjoyable and completely stress-free. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and would love to return. A truly fantastic experience from start to finish!
Our 3rd visit in 3 years and won't be our last. Absolutely amazing resort stunning views beautiful staff that make your holiday a real pleasure they can't do enough for you. The food is excellent with excellent service the wines the branded drinks it's all luxurious. So so many people to mention but a few claudio in flavours Jessica in the main Bar dimitri down on the beach all the girls at reservation services and the main man Thomas hotel manager. Nothing is too much trouble if I could give it more stars I would. See you next year. We love you all. Thankyou Colin and Wendy
