A huge thank you to Alexi and the entire team at The Med! The service was absolutely outstanding from start to finish.

What really makes this place special is the team. Alexi and everyone working with him were always incredibly welcoming, attentive and, above all, always smiling. They created such a warm and positive atmosphere that every visit to The Med was a real pleasure.

It’s exactly this kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back to the hotel again. You can have a beautiful hotel and great food, but it’s the people who make you remember a place.

Congratulations on having such a fantastic team. They truly deserve recognition!

We’ve just returned from 8 nights at Mitsis Summer Palace and while there are definitely some wonderful things worth mentioning, the dining experience completely ruined the trip for us. On the positive side, the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the rooms and pool areas are absolutely beautiful. The kids also absolutely loved the beach and had a great time swimming with the fish. However, none of that makes up for the fact that the food is truly terrible. It is especially awful for children. My kids are normally not fussy eaters at all, but they really struggled to find anything they liked here. They basically lived off calamari, gyros, pizza, and pasta for the entire holiday. I actually got the impression that the staff know the food is bad, too. When they were clearing our table, they would take away full plates of uneaten food and barely even look up or acknowledge it. To be honest, anyone leaving a positive review about the food at this resort has clearly never stayed at a decent all-inclusive before. I did hear on the grapevine that they are turning the property into an adults-only resort, so perhaps they are in some kind of transition phase, but that is still no excuse for serving such poor quality meals.

We have just returned from a week stay at Mitsis Summer Palace. My partner and I were excited for a luxury hotel stay, however this was far from that. Whilst there are some positives that should be acknowledged, like the lovely room, fantastic views and location, great pools, comfy loungers and expansive beach; the food, service and housekeeping really lets the hotel down. The main restaurant is simply atrocious. Most food is almost inedible. We only had one meal come out that was actually warm, I wouldn’t even say hot. The food on the salad bar looked like it had been sat out for days, with hairs and flies all over it! The Dusk and BBQ à la carte restaurants were nice, but even in the Med restaurant, food took an hour to come out and was cold. The service again was poor. Some staff members should be commended for their attitude, but on the most part, we experienced a lack of care and attention and rudeness. The room was also not cleaned to a standard you’d expect in a 5* hotel. Some days, the toilet wasn’t cleaned and the bedding wasn’t changed for multiple days. Even when it was ‘cleaned’, the bed still wasn’t made properly and mess was left. We also experienced problems with security, with staff members entering our room on a number of occasions, without knocking, and with no real explanation as to why they were there. Overall, a very underwhelming stay, absolutely NOT a 5* hotel. Will not be recommending.
