They are individually designed in a contemporary style with personal touches and quietly overlook the hotel's landscaped gardens or the sea.Standard rooms all have a bathroom with bath and shower, toilet, hairdryer, slippers, shower gel, shampoo, soap, individually controlled air conditioning, direct-dial telephone, mini-bar (the mini bar is every other day filled), satellite TV with music channel, safe, wake up call, WiFi internet access and a balcony or terrace.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
A Truly Memorable Stay at Mitsis Norida
Our first visit to Mitsis Norida was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The resort is beautiful, spacious, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained. Everywhere we went, we noticed how much attention is given to cleanliness and detail. The staff deserve special recognition. Everyone we met was kind, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The level of service made a real difference and made us feel valued throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and the entire resort was kept beautifully clean. The restaurants offered a great selection of food, and the service was consistently friendly and efficient. We especially enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the sea, and the relaxing atmosphere of the resort. It is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a wonderful holiday. A big thank you to the entire Mitsis Norida team for making our first visit such a pleasant and memorable one. We truly appreciated all your hard work and hospitality. We had a fantastic time and would happily return in the future!
Just to mention we had great service from everyone at the hotel From the service desk to restaurant staff I would highly recommend if you have problems speak to them they will resolve it
We visited Norida in September as part of a family holiday. It’s a nice enough hotel but far from five stars. After a long day of travelling, not matter what time I check in - the minimum I would expect on arrival at a five star hotel is a welcome drink, but unfortunately we did not receive one.
ROOM: Prior to visiting, we emailed to query the bungalow Seaview location, we were told it could not be guaranteed we were close to the main building/bottom of the hill but if we upgraded this would be sorted. We decided not to upgrade as we had already upgraded to bungalow Seaview. On arrival we found out we were at the bungalows at the very top of the resort, up the infamous hill. This ruined the start of the trip for me as we were travelling with our four month old baby so we either walked the hill every day with the pram and bags or went up in a golf buggy which I did not deem safe as they are fast, and I would be need to hold the baby. The next day my husband went to query about moving and was told come back on Saturday (2 days later), their eventual compromise was a room up 10 steps with no lift access and above the hotel bar which was open until 2am? Immediately no - this was a considerable an inconsiderate downgrade. We chose to stay put in our original room so we could unpack and enjoy our holiday. It’s worth noting, if you moan on Facebook you seem to get better treatment as I noted a post where a woman was contacted directly by the hotel manager when voicing complaint about their room!
TRAVEL COT: Doesn’t comply with safe sleep, a loose sheet wrapped round a tired mattress with a damaged cot frame. We chose to have the baby sleep in one of the beds using the travel cot as a bed guard instead as this felt safer. If you’re travelling with a baby, it may be with considering bringing your own travel cot.
MAIN RESTAURANT: The staff here are fantastic, however they could be more attentive with drink service especially in the evening. The food is good and has plenty of variety, themes are excellent.
A LA CARTE; Staff at the à la carte left a lot to be desired, often miserable but my main gripe was them clearing tables whilst we were still eating! A big no no in my eyes, one waiter removed my husbands plate whilst he had food on his fork. Although I must say Ermolea was fantastic and a breath of fresh air. The food is okay, nothing spectacular and portions smaller than expected. One other let down was that we were told we could order another starter between us - this was never an issue at summer place and we were encouraged to order what we wanted. We also only received one welcome snack between 6 rather then the usual one between two which was bizarre. Brunch at the grill and lunch were good, better more refined options then main restaurant. The other 3 à la carte were generally okay.
POOR BAR & AREA: Bar staff were nice , drink selection good and the pool area was clean. However, all but 2 of the whirlpool seats were broken. With us travelling with our baby, we did check out the baby pool, however there was no shade at all. It would be nice if a shade like over the play area was installed to protect them.
Overall, the hotel and rooms are dated but the pool and beach make up for this. The à la carte leave little to be desired but cocktail options available at other bars make up for this. If you lower your expectations, you will probably be pleased with your stay. We would probably visit again now we know what to expect.
Im a bit of a hotel snob before I start. Overall great holiday. Things that would make it better. Pool was Baltic, but once in you warmed up. Food was boring in the main restaurant, same every night. They did have special nights, but that was a small extra. Thank god for the 3 extra restaurants that you could book. Japanese Fish Meats
Pro Very friendly staff and hotel was a 4 star level. Rooms cleaned every day, pool beds very comfortable. Beach on your doorstep so 2 minute walk. Private to the hotel. You are out in the sticks, so we booked a car for 2 days. Only 45 mins from Koz.
It you want a relaxing holiday, highly recommended. If fussy eater, prob go to hotel near to a town to enjoy restaurants.
Sotiria and melina are very polite, and accommodating. Made our experience a very enjoyable one.
