The complex is located in Kardamena and is an ideal destination for rest and relaxation. The Hotel was built in 1988. The Hotel was renovated in 2006. The unit has 219 rooms. The complex comprises 23 double rooms, 14 Junior Suites, 6 suites, 11 apartments, studios and rooms 102 63 category Superior. The Hotel is located in the heart of the city. The hotel is a short distance from the main railway station and the central bus station of the city. There is easy access to many alternative means of transport. The hotel is a short drive from the airport. Guests will appreciate the short distance between the Hotel and the most popular entertainment areas in the city. The beach is just a short distance from the Hotel. The Hotel is located a few minutes away from the port. Guests can make use of privately owned parking space.
Take time to pamper yourself with a visit to the full-service spa. After a day on the slopes, you can relax in one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge). The complimentary beach shuttle makes getting to the surf and sand a breeze.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Mitsis family villageStayed at canvas by mitsis family village for two weeks in sept 2026. This is our 10th year here and have made some really good friends Drita, Irana Adriola Aglint Chrysa Eirini Areti Matilda Elona Juliano Dimitris Just to name a few you are all like family to us and we love you all dearly, cannot wait to come back next September.
We went here with very low expectations given the reviews that the hotel was receiving up until we arrived. Initially the hotel exceeded these expectations and we were giving it the benefit of the doubt. However come the end of the holiday we both had to say we wouldn’t come here again and here’s why:
PRO: The view, the view is worth paying for, and maybe in a cheaper room than a swim up is well worth it. PRO: when you finally found the right staff member for a drink they were always happy to see you and chat The shuttle into town was fantastic!! The shower had very good pressure and I still miss this now!
CONS (plural!)
It took us several days to figure out how to “unlock” table service for drinks in the evening. We often found ourselves having to go to the bar, and queue, whilst watching others being waited on. When we did go to the bar we found staff were rude and more interested in talking very loudly across the room to each other than serving you.
I’m not a fussy eater, but always cautious of food that’s been stood for a while and one evening even I struggled to find something to eat that was hot and fresh. In the main restaurant the guy couldn’t cook the pizza fast enough, it was quite clear they didn’t have enough room to cater for the guests
The gyros on the beach were disappointing, we knew someone who stayed in Blue Domes a week or two before who had a much better experience/choice.
The main pool was nice, especially the view, however shutting all the pools at 6pm seemed a bit too early. Everyday they were kicking people out of the pools whilst it was still hot and I think they could have learned that they could have been open longer.
There was a bar at the pool, perfect to go get a drink once you’ve got out of the pool and ready to have a cocktail and settle however this bar didn’t open until 7pm (one hour after the pool closed). To us this made zero sense as when we wanted to get a drink around the pool you had to go to main bar, even if wet, and of which was the only bar open. This baffled us as they had a Perfectly good bar outside to combat this and make it easier for everyone! And when at the main bar you had to hope the person in front you you wasn’t ordering a coffee as that seemed to take staff completely out!
It’s an old hotel so the drains in the room can sometimes be a bit stinky!
The hallway of the rooms makes for a big echo, which can be quite disrupting.
Entertainment schedule is weekly. So if you’re here for more than a week expect a repeat (especially kids club, baby shark!!!)
We got charged 5* tax, I’d say this hotel is more of a 3*.
If this hotel was rated 3* I think we would have been happier and reviewed bette, but It’s rated 4* and you have to pay 5* tax. This hotel does not meet expectations and is not value for money (albeit we were in one of the more expensive rooms, it may be seen as more value for money in a non swim up (+6 steps before you reach the pool) room
We had a good holiday, but there were far too many niggles to be ignored, and frustrating niggles at the top that could easily be addressed, more attentive service, use the outdoor bar correctly, read the room that the pool needs to be open longer and maybe another evening dining space to take some pressure off the main restaurant.

We are here now been here since 5th September. This hotel is advertised as 4 star definitely not.Rooms are dated with one spare socket witch is badly cracked .All inclusive mini bar in the room is filled every 2 days with 1 small bottle of beer even though there is two of us staying. The food is the biggest let down same thing every day and it is always cold. Not enough seats in the evening and the queue at the bar is ridiculous. The only good thing i would say is some but not all of the staff are fantastic. If you are thinking of doing a all inclusive holiday do not pick here I am sure there is a lot better and cheaper.
We stayed from 30th August till 6th September First of all before we left I had read quite a few negative reviews on here about the hotel and after 7 days there, I’ve come to the conclusion that either people expect absolute perfection or they’re just very picky. From the very minute we arrived we felt welcomed and the staff were very happy for us to be there. We travelled as a family of 4 and this was to celebrate my son‘s 18th birthday, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left I have no complaints, if I was to be slightly picky then I would say the buffet breakfast wasn’t always at 100%. but that is me being super picky. I would slightly agree that some of the decor especially in the rooms could do with modernising up. But they were perfectly good enough for myself and family to stay there for seven days. we booked the family maisonette with the shared pool and to be honest we didn’t utilise the shared Pool as much as we should’ve done as we didn’t spend much time in the room so this was a cost to us that we didn’t utilise and-that’s not the hotel’s fault that’s on us. We were given room number 838 and the views from the room and around the hotel especially sunrise and sunset were absolutely spectacular and ones I personally will never forget. As mentioned on other reviews the staff are absolutely fantastic from the receptionists to the bar staff and the restaurant staff and not forgetting the cleaners They went all above and beyond to make our stay as perfect as possible. Even though my kids were 18 and 15, they both had a fantastic holiday and the hotel has a real family vibe to it. There was a great snack bar serving crêpes and ice cream which we used every day. The beach itself is about 10 minute walk from our room and going down to the beach was very easy but some people with mobility issues they may struggle going back to the hotel as it’s all uphill but there was a mini bus available Every 15 minutes from the beach during peak times which my wife and kids used a couple of times, but I was able to walk with ease so didn’t want to use it and even during the day the views around the resort are still spectacular as in the mornings and night times,on the beach they have Gyros and pizzas which are all cooked to a high standard. Our seven nights stay was definitely not long enough and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook and go back again; a quick mention to Kardamena go-kart the track itself was only five minute drive and a member of staff picked us up straight from the hotel and dropped us back again. We did a 20 minute race for €140 the views were spectacular around the track and we had a lot of fun. highly recommend it. On another day we took a bus ride which picks you right outside the hotel into Cos town itself again view spectacular around the harbour looking at and reading about the ruins and there’s many shops and bars and restaurants definitely worth it Also on the way to course town you can stop off at Kardamaina which again stunning views mini shops, bars and restaurants Welworth visit. The hotel itself only has one main pool but because it’s part of the Mitsis group there are other mitsis hotels around and we are able to use the slide pool which is a massive hit for all of us. The nighttime entertainment was from around 8:30 pm, which was the kids club and then a themed night most nights the LED and fire show be in the main highlight for us.
Lovely location. Sea view. Nice atmosphere in hotel. Staff are sooo friendly. Superior rooms with infinity pool were magnificent. Clean hotel. Tiny ants in room. Entertainment team really good. Night entertainment was very good. Noise level minimim. Restaurant very clean. Food sometimes not very hot. Lots of choice. 18 euro taxi to kardamina or 2 euro on bus.
