Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

On our last day of a wonderful stay ,made even more special by all the wonderful friendly staff ,special mention to Mondi for the constant supply of Hugos to our pool area & Karen for her lovely smile and antisipating our every need in the dining room .

Stam at pita giros looked after the wife when she had a tumble , could not have asked for better service a lot of care was taken. The food was great too
No way is this a 5* hotel. It’s showing its age & is in need of updating & general refurbishment. Food is good but the dining experience has been very average so far. You can’t even book some of the themed restaurants for dinner as they are booked in advance by people who are not even on site yet!
The pools are not very clean and nearly all of them have algae around the edges & this is not acceptable as this biofilm carries e-coli & other nasty bacteria. Pools are freezing cold too although there is one heated pool but we steered clear of all the pools after I slipped off a slimy step in the pool at the rear of room 752 and ended up in the bacteria soup. Another issue is there a birds flying around in the dining room and nesting up in the ceiling. You just pray they won't poop on your food!
However I feel I must mention one particular member of staff, Athina Mammi, the Rooms Division Assistant Manager who upon receipt of our complaint, went out of her way to resolve some of our concerns. As I would not use the pools we were upgraded to a room with its own pool and this was a lot cleaner so we avoided the main pools due to my concern over poor hygiene. On the last day of our stay we did notice that the small fountain pool (decorative only) by the bar had been cleaned so that might mean the rest will get a good clean.
There are better hotels than this and this was not cheap. Expected a lot better. Bungalow room is a good size but some other basic rooms look too small. However you can pay more for a suite but I wouldn’t bother. We will not be back.
