Best vacation ever
I want to thank everybody in the hotel for our amazing experience and especially Martha in the reception who was always helpful and with the biggest smile ever. The hotel is very clean, the restaurant and the food are amazing, the drinks at the bars very tasty, the service people are always so acommodating and helpful and the animation team tries very hard to make people have fun and it really pays off, we had an amazing time. We will definately come back!!!

Hotel was really good yes it’s on a steep hill (really steep) but the facilities are great we could always get a sunbed and we took tennis rackets so could play tennis it was always free as you have to bring your own to play. Right opposite beach which is rocky but 2 min walk to the right and there was a sandy beach which you could walk into the sea great for families. Kardamina was a 10 min walk away and was lovely we ate out a few nights and had drinks in the stone roses bar and starlight all staff really friendly and good safe atmosphere. Hotel has entertainment throughout the day and a evening music show which goes on till 11 karaoke etc as well. Rooms very clean and aircon is great
Food in the hotel was mixed, Greek food was great chips, souvlaki and gyros was really good so was the baklava and the salads, international (upstairs) was interesting a lot of veal/fish and odd combinations of food however you can mix from both restaurants all staff great and friendly.
Things to do was limited hotel does a free trip to the lido water park with free transport it’s 30 mins away and is great for family’s very clean and food and drink reasonably priced they do the trip 3 times a week. There is Watersports on the beach where you can hire boats do jet skiing etc however it can be expensive depending on what you do. Loads of boat trips from kardamina.
There is a mini market by the road at bottom of the hill which is amazing we bought large water bottles for the room €3 for 6 bottles and had a great selection of gifts, snack food, inflatables for pool etc at a good price it is windy so you will need sunbed pegs as towels do fly away. Also bought balls for the pool which was fun to play games.
Over all a great holiday good hotel and location however not much to do on the island

Very nice
The people are very welcoming and they clean rooms good as we get in everyday from outside. The views are very nice.
The Grand Experience
Grand Blue Beach is set on a hillside offering stunning views of the Aegean Sea, located a short 10 minute walk from the main resort, this is our first family holiday away to Kos and we would come back again.
What really sets this hotel apart from all others we have stayed at is the hospitality of the staff, it is they who have made our holiday special and we leave with warm hearts that we were made to feel so welcome, accommodating to all our needs with a smile and professionalism that is not often seen.
I thank Marthia at reception for taking care of our needs, being courteous and striving to ensure we were all happy.
The wonderful Didka in the restaurant, such a wonderful personality, always so so happy, genuinely warm and making us all smile
The amazing Yanis who taxied us around the resort, engaging with our family, making us laugh and was genuinely interested in our lives, what a wonderful human being
Georgiana at the mini mart who made the time to talk with us, offering knowledge on the area and culture
All in all a fantastic resort, highly recommended and we one day hope to see you all again

Stunning hotel in a great location
We were a little worried about our choice of hotel after some of the earlier reviews but we needn’t have been. We spent a very relaxing 7 days in the resort which is in a great location- only 15 minutes drive from the airport and a short 10 minute stroll into Kardamena.
Our junior suite was newly renovated and very spacious. Beds were comfortable and we had a lovely view of the sea. On arrival there was bottled water in the room although I would have liked this to have been topped up throughout our stay.
The resort has three pools and we spent most of our time at Seebreeze where the entertainment was. The entertainers themselves were brilliant- very friendly but not overly pushy to get you involved if you preferred to just relax. A special mention to the two ladies who worked hard at the Seebreeze bar all day with a smile.
At the bar there were snacks served each day, usually small pizza squares, sandwiches, salad and then a hot option such as burger or hotdog. We did feel that there could have been more of a selection for lunch at the bars but you have the option of heading to the main restaurant for lunch if you prefer more options.
We all found the food delicious and hot. Breakfast consisted of traditional English options such as omelettes, eggs, bacon etc. pancakes, plus continental options and Greek yoghurt with fruits etc. On an evening the lower ground restaurant served more basic options such as chips and chicken gyros, whilst the Panorama restaurant upstairs had themed evening each night such as Asian, Mediterranean etc. They also served freshly cooked pizzas which were delicious and Greek salads with beautiful feta and huge olives. We always found the food hot and the service was great. Didrka was an especially friendly and excellent member of staff working in the restaurant and is a huge asset to the hotel.
Entertainment wise, we enjoyed the majority of the evening entertainment. The karaoke and quiz night, live band and Greek night were highlights. The Latin night was the only one that we felt a bit underwhelmed at!
As others have mentioned the hotel is on a steel hill but we managed this fine although I can imagine it would be a bit more of a chore in the July/August heat. We did call for a buggy on a couple of occasions and they arrived within minutes and our children found it an experience in itself!
The resort of madman is a 10 minute walk away if that and is definitely worth a visit. Some beautiful shops, bars and restaurants. We had a lovely day and evening meal.
All in all a beautiful and relaxing holiday where the staff and other guests were very friendly and the views were breathtaking. Thank you to the staff for a great week and we hope to be back.
