On the southeast coast of Kos island, 7km from the Marine and Kos town and 32km from Kos International airport (KGS), the hotel is located on Agios Fokas beach, renowned for its crystal clear waters. The Therma hot springs at 3,5km, is an attraction to visit and enjoy the curing effects.
Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites has renovated all its public areas and rooms 2015-2019 to now be a cozy and modern hotel. In approximately 70.000 m2 of land, covered with marvelous gardens, the Resort consists of the main building, the annex building that features the Club Suites and 5 more blocks of bungalows near the private beach.
3 restaurants, 4 bars & lounges (2 adults only lounges), 3 adults' pools and 3 separate kids' pools, sports activities during the day and evening entertainment to enjoy. This has been our best family holiday ever! The food was amazing, offering a wide variety of choices, and the team catered brilliantly to our special dietary requirements.
Every member of the hotel staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The swimming pools were kept sparkling clean, and we really enjoyed relaxing with delicious cocktails by the pool.
We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for great value for money and the utmost experience of a truly unforgettable getaway.

Our 4th Stay – and Dimitra Beach Just Gets Better and Better
The hotel is spotless and beautifully maintained, the location and the views are to die for but the staff are Dimitra’s real strength and is what makes it so special.
From the moment we arrived, we felt as though we were coming home. George on Reception welcomed us back so warmly, followed by Lili and Adina in the Veranda Bar—what a welcome! They looked after us throughout our stay, as did Carllena and the boys. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
Mimi, Valentina and Matilda—you really are the absolute best! We looked forward to seeing you every morning before heading to the pool. Your warmth and kindness genuinely helped make our holiday special.
The poolside sunbeds are among the most comfortable we have ever experienced, and we never had any trouble finding one. Mark is a real credit to the poolside team—always smiling, friendly and attentive.
We had breakfast and lunch every day at Thalasa & Alati, where John and Sylvia are incredible. They always greet you with a smile and cannot do enough for you. The choice of food is excellent, and you certainly will not go hungry.
The team at the adults-only Thalaso Lounge also deserves a special mention. Even when it was extremely busy, they remained efficient, friendly and cheerful. Evelena, Joanna, Illias and Jim are a real credit to the hotel.
We also enjoyed dinner at Cucina, where Theresa remembered us from the previous year. That personal touch made the evening even more special. Our meal was lovely, so be sure to book Cucina during your stay.
We cannot recommend Dimitra Beach highly enough. The setting, cleanliness, food and facilities are all excellent, but it is the wonderful staff who turn a great holiday into a truly memorable one.
Four stays down—and we already know it will not be our last, as we have booked again! Thank you to everyone at Dimitra Beach for another wonderful holiday and for making us feel so welcome. We cannot wait to return.. ❤️

Beautiful hotel
We had a lovely stay in a beautiful location, with stunning surroundings and plenty of choice at mealtimes. My girls especially loved the à la carte restaurant, and the surprise birthday cake arranged for my daughter was such a thoughtful touch—she absolutely loved it!
The hotel staff were amazing: friendly, polite and always willing to help. A special mention must go to George (Bobby), Sylvia and Larisa. They took the time to get to know all four of my children, chatted with them, worked out which twin was which, and even remembered their favourite drinks! Their kindness made our stay feel extra special.
The kids’ club was fabulous too. My girls adored both of the ladies and spent ages colouring their favourite television characters, singing songs and playing board games with them.
We didn’t make it to the evening entertainment because it started a little late for my children, but they loved taking an evening stroll along the beach and climbing on the rocks instead. Would recommend taking a cardigan or jacket for the evening as the wind really did pick up in the evenings which made it feel a little cold.
We would definitely return. My only small complaint was that our bathroom towels weren’t changed until I asked at reception despite leaving a request on the door to clean our room. Other than that, we had a wonderful holiday and would happily recommend the hotel.

Lovely place and great service at the pool bar
Lovely hotel and great service. Top swim up pool bar is great. The service from dennis and team at the bar is fantastic
Beach front bungalows
Wow. What an amazing hotel this is, the cleanliness, the food the views the entertainment all 10/10. Staff every so friendly too. We would recommend 100% & will be going back next year. If you get one of the beach front bungalows, the view is outstanding all day till evening.
