- Princess Hotel Lassi

Located across from the picturesque gold Sandy Makris Gialos beach in Kefalonia, this charming hotel is surrounded by rich greenery in an idyllic place. The island's capital city of Argostoli, with chic shops and tasteful cafes and restaurants, is a mere 1.5 kilometres away and the island's international airport is 6 kilometres away. The hotel offers air-conditioned accommodation with private, furnished balconies overlooking the Ionian Sea and swimming pool. All rooms feature modern decoration and bright colours and each unit has its own private entrance. Moreover, some rooms offer a seating area for extra space. The pool bar and restaurant offer Mediterranean cuisine and cocktails and guests can pamper themselves at the fantastic on-site swimming pool.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Just finishing our stay at the Princess Hotel. The hotel room had been renovated and is very modern and spacious with a decent size balcony. A few steps to the rooms but there is a driveway near the pool if you can’t make the steps. Breakfast was average we’ve had better in other Greek hotels. The cleaning staff are amazing cleaned the rooms everyday with new bedding and towels. Bar staff in the morning and lunchtime are great, wasn’t keen on the barman in the afternoon and evening wasn’t very friendly unless you were single women on holiday they seemed to get a free cocktail 🤔 And moaned at families playing with a ball in the pool which didn’t bother us or the other people round the pool. Reception staff were great and helpful too our safe wouldn’t unlock but he helped and tried everything to luckily get the safe open. If I were them I’d have a better happy hour offer on rather than just 1 euro off all drinks if they had a 2 for 1 offer on cocktails they would have sold loads. The hotel is a fair walk into Lassi. The beach opposite we didn’t go to as the cheapest sunbeds were €40 for 2 and the beach was rammed, we went to Platis Gialos which is to the left of the hotel around the bend the sunbeds there were €20 for 2.
Good value hotel for a family break in a great location. The hotel is currently renovating its rooms, so some of the older ones are starting to feel a little dated, but they are clean and comfortable.
A special mention goes to Gregory and Helen, who run the restaurant and pool bar. They are incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely make you feel at home. They really made our stay even more enjoyable. Relaxing by the pool with their excellent service and some fantastic Greek specials on the menu was one of the highlights of the holiday.
Beautiful, friendly hotel. We stayed in a deluxe room which had everything you needed including towelling bathrobes. Room was cleaned every day. Would return in a heartbeat.
Had an amazing stay here staff very helpful could not of ask for more from them. Location perfect across the road is an amazing beach and close to restaurants. Argostoli Is a 5min taxi ride where the turtles are. The breakfast is simple but nice! you don’t go to Greece for a full English. I would recommend a stay here.
We have just returned from a week in the Princess Hotel. Room 29. Lots of steps to reach our room, so not ideal for some people. Room very dated and balcony very small, very little space for 2 people. Bathroom shower over bath very dated. However the room where spotless and cleaned daily with fresh towels. The lovely lady who did our room daily worked extremely hard. The pool and bar area spotless. Lovely ladies at breakfast very helpful, but breakfast choice Limited. Hotel close to beach and local restaurants. Lovely place to relax and gorgeous staff
