Zeus Eleva Ajul is a serene coastal resort located in Agia Paraskevi, just a 12 minute walk from Ani Beach, and surrounded by pine-covered hills and overlooking the crystal-clear Aegean Sea. This tranquil setting is ideal for guests seeking a peaceful getaway while still being within a short drive of the village and the region’s sandy beaches. Thessaloniki Airport is approximately 100 km away.
Guests can enjoy several outdoor swimming pools, unwind at the spa with a selection of wellness treatments, or stay active at the fitness centre. The main restaurant serves fresh Mediterranean and international cuisine, while the bars provide refreshing drinks and light snacks throughout the day.
Accommodation at Zeus Eleva Ajul is designed with comfort and simplicity in mind. Each room includes air conditioning, a minibar, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, and a private balcony or terrace, many of which offer stunning sea views. Upgraded rooms and suites may feature private pools or hot tubs, providing an added touch of privacy and indulgence for a truly memorable stay.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel is beautiful, very pretty surroundings. But staff are not as attentive as they once were. Lifeguard has been sat on the counter in the bar area talking to bar staff. The bar staff do not clear tables of drinks so wasps and ants start to gather. We have looked at 12 half used cups for most of the day and they are still there. Not always enough cutlery in the restaurant. Food in the buffet is okay but sometimes repetitive and always luke warm. The place would benefit from another dining hall at the bottom of the hill closer to the villas as it is a long walk up hill and steps three times a day. We have used the Greek restaurant for lunch and it was very slow. We had to ask to order puddings after waiting half an hour. Lots of asking for water not being offered more. Water park is great for the kids but there used to be more rings and rings were back on the grass for next user. Now people are able to float around on the rings or keep them on the sun loungers as staff don’t advise other wise. We are still enjoying our holiday but it isn’t the same as it was and we can’t see the justification of 5 stars at the moment.
Beautiful surroundings and fantastic staff. This hotel has been one of the cleanest and picturesque Greek hotels we have been to. The staff were always friendly and helpful and Panos and Alex at the pool bar were great with service and the children. The water park and two pools both had lovely areas for relaxing and fun. Food we had in the main buffet was tasty with a great breakfast selection. Greek restaurant food is very nice but go after the sun goes down to avoid wasps. Room was a great size with its own pool. Although all the food we enjoyed was cooked well and tasty, it did not offer the selection and variety we have previously experienced at 5 star Greek hotels for a similar price. A little more evening entertainment would benefit larger family groups like ourselves. Overall a lovely place with excellent staff and lots to do in the day.
First of all, the staff was very helpful with everything I requested, and the sea view was just WOW! Don’t forget to visit the main bar for the Greek nights and Latin nights. Everything I could have asked for during my vacation, all in one beautiful resort. ❤️
⭐️ 5 STAR? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
We stayed at Zeus Eleva Ajul from 3–10 July as a family of five, paying approximately £5,000 for what was sold to us as a 5-star, all-inclusive resort with a Prestige Villa.
Having now experienced it for ourselves, we genuinely cannot understand how this resort can justify a 5-star rating.
We have stayed in 3-star hotels that were considerably better than this. Better food, better service, better cleanliness and, most importantly, a far better overall guest experience. The 5-star label creates an expectation that this resort simply does not deliver.
Our Prestige Villa was overcrowded for a family of five and did not provide the standard of accommodation we expected for the money we had paid. Housekeeping was poor, with towels being refreshed but the room itself not being properly maintained. A sticky drink spill was left on the floor for three days before it was dealt with.
The food was one of the biggest disappointments. For a supposedly 5-star all-inclusive resort, the buffet was repetitive, bland and frequently cold. There were very limited options for children, despite this being a family holiday. Our three children were repeatedly left eating chips because there was so little suitable choice.
There was also one two-slice toaster for the entire hotel. The queues were so ridiculous that we eventually stopped bothering with toast altogether. This is not what anyone expects when paying thousands of pounds for a 5-star all-inclusive holiday.
The ice cream station was also poorly maintained and, frankly, unhygienic.
The facilities were another let-down. The pool associated with our accommodation was effectively a small plunge pool, not what we expected when booking a Prestige Villa at a 5-star family resort. The difference between what we believed we were booking and what we actually received was extremely disappointing.
Then came the issue that left an especially bad taste.
We were told that we could potentially have a late checkout because of our late flight, but only on the condition that we did not make a complaint to Jet2.
That is an extremely concerning thing to be told as a paying guest. We had legitimate concerns about our holiday and should not have been made to feel that raising those concerns could affect whether we were allowed to use a service we had been told might be available.
What made this even worse was seeing the treatment of the Jet2 representative on our final day.
The contrast was unbelievable.
We watched staff pander to the Jet2 representatives, pulling chairs out for them and giving them a level of attention and hospitality that we had not received ourselves as paying guests.
We certainly didn't experience that level of service during our week.
Watching it happen in front of us was embarrassing and incredibly frustrating. It made the difference in treatment very obvious.
When we raised our concerns with management, we did not feel listened to or taken seriously. For a resort claiming to be 5-star, the customer service fell well below the standard we expected.
And that's ultimately the problem with Zeus Eleva Ajul: the promises, the price and the reality simply do not match.
We didn't pay £5,000 for an average family holiday. We paid for a 5-star experience.
We didn't receive one.
A 5-star hotel should not have families queuing indefinitely for a two-slice toaster. It should not be serving cold, repetitive food with almost nothing suitable for children. It should not leave spills on the floor for days. It should not provide accommodation that feels overcrowded. It should not make guests feel that complaining could jeopardise services. And guests should certainly not have to watch staff provide noticeably better treatment to representatives than to the people actually paying to stay there.
The 5-star rating is, in our experience, completely out of step with the standard provided.
We have stayed in 3-star hotels that have made us feel more welcome, provided better food and delivered a much higher standard of service.
This was supposed to be a special family holiday, including birthday celebrations. Instead, we spent a significant amount of our holiday disappointed by the standard of what we had paid for and trying to get basic issues addressed.
Would we return? Absolutely not.
Would we recommend it as a genuine 5-star family resort? Again, absolutely not.
If you are considering booking, our advice would be to look very carefully beyond the 5-star label and ask yourself whether the experience being advertised actually matches what you are paying for.
For us, it didn't come close.
Everything was great! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well located. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything went smoothly during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.
