This appealing hotel enjoys a great location directly beside the beach. It is only a 10 minute walk to typical Greek taverns as well as a range of shops and entertainment venues. This establishment is surrounded by a well-tended garden and welcomes guests with its inviting lobby. Guests will be spoilt for choice when it comes to dining as this hotel offers 2 cosy bars and 3 restaurants. The rooms all come with modern amenities and a balcony or terrace, where guests are able to enjoy fantastic views. . Those arriving by car can take advantage of the on-site car park.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 2 outdoor swimming pools, a sauna and a fitness centre. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and wedding services.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel is 5 star in appearance but not substance. Great location and attractive hotel. Hard to get a sunbed by the infinity pool as people were wow‘reserving’ beds before 7am! Sunbeds at the beach are far too close to each other and people are smoking (ok if you’re a smoker!) We went B&B and had breakfast only 3 mornings as the food was cold and the offering fairly average (we were there for 14 nights). We had a gold seaview room - the bed was comfortable and facilities fine but the storage space is dreadful. I had read previous reviews and, thankfully, I brought a collapsible clothes rack with me - without that, many of my clothes would’ve remained in the suitcase or on the couch (which served no purpose - the space could be used for drawers or another wardrobe). The staff are friendly. I booked the hotel for my husband’s birthday - there was wine on arrival. We both had birthdays whilst there and we each received a birthday cake which was a lovely touch. We enjoyed Stalis and spent most days on the beach paying for beds at the small hotel next door - lovely people. We would return to Stalis but not I Resort as, in my opinion, it is not value for money.

We had a lovely holiday in the I Resort Hotel Stalis. Nikita from reception is so helpful and friendly as is the night porter. We will always remember Christina in the dining room fondly for being so lovely and helpful. She goes above and beyond with her custom service. We highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel is amazing. Lovely location and not far from Heraklion City or the airport. The shops out the front of the hotel on the street have all the amenities you’d expect with a resort like this. Firstly the hotel looks like it’s been recently refurbished. Although there are still parts that are yet to be refurbished, like the side pool and beach bar. The staff at this hotel are just so nice. I mean, really nice. Shout out to a few who made out holiday amazing:
Adriana who does the fitness and lots of other things is so funny. She really was a laugh to be around and always made sure everything was running well in the hotel.
Georgios in the main restaurant was such a nice man who always made sure everyone was being tended to during dinner.
The lady on the reception who is from Moscow was so lovely. Nothing was too much trouble.
I’d like to thank Maria from Guest relations who arranged a birthday cake and prosecco for my partner's birthday today. Thank you. The cake was amazing.
The two girls in the spa who sorted out our massages and spa treatments. Annate and Priya. They were so nice and made our holiday so much better.
We would definitely come again.
If I was to make some suggestions, it would be:
The rooms on the east side are very small, although very nicely furnished. The shower needs a door on it or a lip on the shower enclosure to stop the water flooding the room. We also found that things like water and coffee, milk and toilet paper weren’t replenished on a regular basis. We went for four days without these thing being replenished, so I had to ask at reception.
Other than that, we couldn’t fault the experience. Amazing hotel and the food was just out of this world. It’s the staff in this hotel that made our stay an amazing one.
We couldn’t fault any member of staff. They are all so professional and all take so much pride in their jobs, it was so nice to see (especially with us coming from the UK where this sort of job pride and professionalism is virtually non existent).
