This charming beach hotel is situated at the end of an 11-kilometre long beach, which stretches to the historical town of Rethymnon. The area is rich in attractions and places of interest like the St.Nikolas Church, or the famous mountain caves nearby. Whether they have spent the day lazing at the beach or exploring the region, guests are sure to find peace and relaxation in the cool air-conditioned rooms, complete with large balconies with sea or garden views. The hotel is especially popular among those travelling with children as the outdoor area has a kids' swimming pool, a kids' club and a games room. Lush week of complete relaxation
A very relaxed, quiet week we had here. No evening entertainment but we weren’t fussed by that. Staff couldn’t be any more helpful. It’s been exactly what we needed for a week of relaxation. The food options weren’t overly varied for myself (veggie) but plenty of salad which was lovely. There is work going on around the hotel and I’d be intrigued to visit again in a couple of years to see what it’s like. I wish we could stay longer!

We stayed at Begeti Bay Hotel for 14 days, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The staff at this hotel are, without exaggeration, the best in the world. Every single person we met was warm, attentive, and dedicated to making our stay unforgettable. Their kindness and professionalism truly set this place apart.
The location is perfect – peaceful, beautiful, and ideal for families. We loved waking up to the sound of the sea and enjoying the easy access to the beach. It’s a place where you can relax completely and feel safe letting your children explore and play.
The food was fantastic every single day. There was always something fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. We looked forward to every meal, and the variety made it easy for both adults and children to find new favorites.
The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. Our room was spotless throughout our stay, and the entire property is clearly maintained with great care. As a family traveling with a small child, this meant a lot to us.
Begeti Bay is truly perfect for families with young children. The atmosphere is calm, friendly, and safe. Our child loved every moment here, and we felt completely at ease the entire time.
After two wonderful weeks, we can honestly say that Begeti Bay Hotel has become one of our favorite places in the world. Everything was fantastic – the staff, the food, the location, the cleanliness, and the family-friendly environment. We will absolutely return, and we recommend this hotel with all our hearts.
