This charming beach hotel is situated at the end of an 11-kilometre long beach, which stretches to the historical town of Rethymnon. The area is rich in attractions and places of interest like the St.Nikolas Church, or the famous mountain caves nearby. Whether they have spent the day lazing at the beach or exploring the region, guests are sure to find peace and relaxation in the cool air-conditioned rooms, complete with large balconies with sea or garden views. The hotel is especially popular among those travelling with children as the outdoor area has a kids' swimming pool, a kids' club and a games room. In addition to delicious meals, the restaurant offers also Greek evenings, disco nights and various entertainment programmes.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Not as good as the pictures or peoples reviews in our opinion. No beach at all ( nearest beach half a mile away) sunbeds that were on the said beach were actually on the side of a road on pebbles with rocks into the sea . Yes it’s isolated but we knew that . Very quiet place lovely staff who worked hard. Food cooked well but basic. No nice glasses to drink out of eg wine glasses . The Pool area is beautiful lots of sunbeds, but lots of steps that you can’t see so people had to be careful getting around the pool . No gardens . Rooms very clean and bedding clean also . No chair to sit and do your hair , but you can get one off of the balcony . Bathroom not good rusty Shower . I think this hotel is slowly upgrading each area and when it’s done it will be good. If you want a relaxing quiet holiday then this is one to go for . Getting around there are taxis but quite expensive, or you can get the local bus to towns and beaches . This cost €2.20 each way but you MUST get this from the hotel as busses don’t carry cash .
We had a great stay at this hotel in mid-September 2026. Without a doubt, what makes this hotel special is the lovely, friendly, kind, and hardworking staff.
I can’t remember everyone’s names, but Melina, Stella, Martina, Anna, Addi the barman, and the rest of the team were absolutely amazing. They were always welcoming and helpful and really made our stay an unforgettable experience.
The hotel itself is clean and spotless, and the beds are very comfortable. The room sizes are good, and access to the rooms is easy. That said, I feel that some areas of the hotel are starting to look a little tired. In particular, the bathrooms and the main entrance/room doors could benefit from some upgrading.
The location is good and the area is very quiet at night. However, like many hotels in Crete, it is a little outside the main town. If you want to explore the surrounding area and visit other places, I would highly recommend hiring a car. Alternatively, you can take a bus (around 1 hour) or a taxi (around 15 minutes) to the beautiful nearby town of Rethymno.
All in all, it’s a nice, peaceful hotel and offers good value for money. Most importantly, the staff deserve a 10/10 for their excellent service and hospitality!

Had a fabulous week here, yes the hotel is quiet and off the beaten track but there is a bus 5 minute walk away to visit Retymno or Panormos 🚌 The pool is lovely at the hot really cooled you down 🥶from the hot sun but once in you get used to the bracing water🤣 Food was good we ❤️could always something to eat. Rooms were spacious the only down side was we had no hot water for a shower so a tepid one did us. We didn't mind as it was so hot outside anyway. The staff are all lovely very pleasant and always smiling. We define are looking at returning next year for our chill week.
I pay extra 120€ for seaside view, what we didnt get.. other rooms have better view. Dont pay extra, for what you dont get. Hotell is maeby 3☆ not 4.
