The hotel is located in Rethymnon, a central town and one of the most delightful in Crete. The hotel is just a short walk from the picturesque Old Town and a few minutes from the large sandy beach.
This beach hotel features a total of 209 well appointed bedrooms and suites decorated in a modern style and with up-to-date facilities. These include a TV lounge, bar, conference facilities, Internet access and room service.ost of the rooms are equipped with one double or one single bed. Each room has an en suite bathroom with bathtub/shower and hairdryer. There is also a fridge, TV with music channel, direct dial telephone, safe deposit box, air conditioning and heating provided.
The hotel offers a variety of daily activities, allowing clients to exercise. Guests can begin their day in the gym and sauna or with a revitalizing massage from an experienced masseur (on request), then continue by taking a swim in the indoor (annex building) or outdoor swimming pool (main building) or simply by enjoying a fresh juice from one of the poolside snack bars while relaxing in the hot tub or on a sun lounger under a parasol. There is also a children's swimming area. Furthermore, guests may play table tennis, pool/snooker or bocce at the hotel and hire sun loungers and parasols on the sandy beach.
Treat yourself with massages and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 2 outdoor swimming pools, a fitness centre and bicycles to rent. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and gift shops/newsstands.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel has excellent facilities . It has 2 outdoor pools and an indoor pool and gym. All very nice. Only the small indoor pool is heated . Our room was spacious and for the most part clean. However like a previous reviewer we had ants in the bathroom. The breakfast was quite extensive and very good . It is one block from the beach. However to walk to the old town is about 40 minutes. We did it once . You really need a taxi. Unless you book a deluxe room you need to pay 4 euros a day to use the safe in your room. The hotel is not a luxury hotel. I would say 4 star tops . The staff are very nice and helpful . We appreciate their efforts to get us into our room early. If we did not have the ants in our room and our bathroom had not flooded every time we used the shower I would have rated it higher . We asked for a walk in shower and got a bathroom with just a hole in the floor for drainage and no stall for the shower
Lovely hotel a few niggles though ! We are currently in the annexe which is lovely and quiet , good room which is perfectly clean , mirror in room would be useful as you can’t style your hair ! We had an issue in room which was fixed immediately and was given a complimentary spa voucher for a massage. ( didn’t rate the spa ! Glad I didn’t pay ! Not very welcoming and no privacy when discussing treatments . It was also chilly , massage was good though , just wish the lady doing it had worn something other than black jumper ? ) . Unfortunately it has not been good weather whilst we’ve been here ,so all the entertainment has been in the small bar , lots of people were trying to get a seat but it only held about 80 people which is not catering for a big hotel like this ! Good entertainment though ! Awful music played through speakers throughout the day ( rap and thump thump ) and we asked for it to changed as average age was over 50 but it was refused . Breakfast was very good plenty of choice and staff were very good . Reception staff very good . Overall a lovely hotel and enjoyed our stay .
During my stay here I had a few issues, now I want to start with the positive as I don’t want to seem like I’m just focusing on the negative, the food was great, the pool bar staff were amazing and prompt with their service. Now in our room we had an ant problem, we noticed that after cleaning our room service the cleaning lady had dropped some food on the floor and hadn’t noticed which meant there were MANY ants in our room when we arrived back (see pictures below) we got back at 11:30pm at night so when we were offered someone to come to clean the room again we declined as it was late. I then posted a FAIR review on bookings.com but the next day when we checked out I got confronted at check out by two members of staff one I can only assume is the manager who did not introduce herself she just went into how she was disappointed I left a review about this and how they offered to help and how it could have been our fault for having food in the room (even though they offer room service and WE kept the food above ground the whole time). The point of my review was missed and makes me think how many people have they done this to that has intimidated them to remove their review (like it did me, now I am back home I have decided to leave a review again as I feel like that was very unfair to do, a review on your service is due post visit and if you haven’t lived up to that service it will be posted, good and bad and that’s just something that needs to be accepted when asking people to review your property as i would have liked to have seen a review like this when I was planning my stay so I could know any issues.
Perfect hotel so beautiful, relaxing, clean and perfect location, the staff are all lovely and friendly especially amalia, strosos and Ioana - would definitely recommend and stay again! Thank You so much
We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and had an amazing time, the hotel is very clean and all the staff are very welcoming.
We were upgraded to a bigger room for free due to availability which we were very happy about, the cleaners did a great job on making up the rooms while we were at breakfast, and the pool staff were very attentive with food and drink service.
The area the hotel is located in has so much to explore and I would recommend for all types of holiday as there is something for everyone, the reception staff helped with recommendations and booking a taxi if needed.
I would strongly recommend staying at this hotel.
