Marinos Beach Hotel

Awful hotel. Hotel looks nothing like the photos. We were meant to have a garden view suite, but what we got was a room overlooking the awful ‘car park’ - this was apparently an upgrade to our original room, so I wouldn’t like to know what the original was like. The breakfast was awful. Barely any selection. The 1 lift was out of service and there is no access for prams. The staff at reception when we complained were rude and put his fingers in our face. We ended up checking out after the first night. I then went on to receive vulgar and abusive messages from the manager. They refused to refund any money nor try and take on any feedback. Do not waste your money.

lovely location right on the beach close to local restaurants and bars short walk to supermarket and local bus stop the faily maid service was not great - cups were cleaned /changed but glasses were left dirty the fridge went off if the room unoccupied because the electric went off . the hotel could benefit from handrails on steps and slopes as a bit dangerous having nothing to hold on to. generally a very nice hotel but the strict rules at the pool and beach meant it wasn't a very relaxed atmosphere - i.e no food or drink allowed unless purchased at the hotel beach bar and being told to get out the pool at 6 p.m. !
