This is the view you get on a 5 star hotel. Some reception staff behave in a nonchalant manner.

Location: perfect for an urban beach hotel (20 min walk from center of Rethymno) Beach: very nice, large shades, extremely comfortable sun beds. Staff: perfect ( friendly, helpfull and attentive) Food: perfect Rooms: very comfortable ( only need to improve the blackout curtains) Cannot comment on the pool, didn’t go… Quite happy with everything

Crete - an island of timeless beaty, rich traditions, and unforgettable landscapes
We stayed at Ikones at the end of June/beginning of July, and everything went wonderfully. Perhaps the suites were not quite as spacious as we expected, but overall, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the staff was outstanding. The beach service was also excellent. A big than you to all the staff who welcomed us and looked after us so wonderfully throughout our stay. We had a fantastic experience and would be happy to return.
Lovely stay and massage
Stunning hotel and lovely staff. Highly recommend the spa, massage was incredible and the staff there- Nicol, eleanna and Georgia were amazing!

The hotel is amazing. From the sea view at the restaurant to the quiet pool and clean private beach. We also had a massage at the spa which was amazing and very reasonably priced. I can confidently say as a fussy hotel stayer… ignore any negative review. The surrounding areas and restaurants amazing too. Highly recommend
