The hotel is located on Crete's northern coastline on the beach road, overlooking the sandy beach and the city of Rethymno. The hotel is only 6 minutes' walk (or 700 m) from the picturesque Rethymno Old Town and there is a wide variety of shops, restaurants and bars in the local area. The hotel is 79 km from the city of Heraklion. This beach hotel was renovated in 2008 and has a total of 200 rooms. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. The hotel is air-conditioned and offers a wealth of facilities, including a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access and TV lounge. For younger guests, there is a children's playground. The hotel has its own café, bar and restaurants. There are conference facilities for business guests as well as WLAN Internet access. For an additional fee, guests may use the room and laundry services. Guests arriving by car may park in the hotel's car park. Bicycles may be hired from the hotel. All standard rooms are fitted with double beds and have a pillow menu. Amenities include a direct dial telephone, safe, satellite TV with music channels, mini hifi system with radio and CD player and free WLAN Internet access. There is a minibar (for an extra charge) and tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have air conditioning and heating. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a bath/shower and WC, as well as toiletries, bathroom amenities, bathrobes, slippers and a hairdryer. There is a balcony or terrace for each room.

Had a lovely full body massage today by Sandy, felt all the “knots” being smoothed away. Mini facial to finish the treatment, thank you, feel very relaxed.
I shall start with the good points the food is excellent and the hotel is situated nicely near the old town, and just across the road from its own beach. The staff are very polite and helpful. The hotel has lots of amenities such as gym,spa indoor swimming pool and 2 outdoor pools (although small).The room cleaners were very helpful as my wife found the bed to hard and asked for a mattress topper which a nice lady brought up and fitted for us. Now the bad, and its a long list. firstly i found there seems to be a lot of nickel and diming, a coffee pod in the room is 2 euro, a cappuchino at their cafe is 5 euro, i was also shocked to find that a so called 5 star hotel failed to sell Greeks most popular and nicest beer in Mythos. They sold a beer that was quite poor quality tasted cheap but still cost 7 euro unless you are all inclusive, which then points to reviews saying the all inclusive is proper brands. Not when it comes to lager, its a cheap alternative. One occasion we ordered drinks with our dinner, we finished our meal and they still had'nt arrived so we left. The evening entertainment every night was really awful, i've actually seen and heard better in a karioke pub on a saturday night. I would say that its for anyone over 60 as the entertainment is very mellow and finishes at 2230. If you are using their beach you will have to pay 15 euros for the first 2 rows (more nickel and diming). We went to pay our room bill at the end of our stay and thankfully we kept our own total on it. They were trying to charge us 300+ euros on which we had totalled just over 200, we looked at the bill and on one day they had charged us 7 times for the same item, and also tried charging us for the drinks we ordered one meal time but never received. My advice, always check your final room bill. Overall having stayed in 3 to 5 star hotels this is probably a 3 and a half.
The location of this hotel is ideal for everything, the hotels beach, the old town and the city. The hotel is very well run, clean and spacious. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and including the management team. Rooms were comfortable and well serviced. The hotel offers great value for a comfortable stay. The restaurants are excellent especially the à la carts .
Did the Samira Gorge walk and was in need of a massage!!! Had the best full body and facial by Sandy Thank you so much Teresa
