We had the most beautiful romantic sunset dinner on the beach at Minoa Palace during our honeymoon. The setting was incredible, watching the sun go down with the sea just in front of us — it felt really special.
A special thank you to Irine, who looked after us so wonderfully throughout the evening. She was warm, attentive and made sure everything was just right without ever being intrusive.

Everything went great last year. This year, there are far more small children. People show up to dinner in sneakers and ripped jeans. Apparently, breastfeeding at the dinner table is perfectly normal too, since no one says anything. Next year, they’ll probably have Bamse the Bear there to entertain everyone as well.
A fantastic hotel, great staff and good quality and variety of food. This is most certainly a 5* resort, with great pools, kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, a spa and gym that caters for all ages and needs, and a location which is good, but not close to Chania (20 mins drive), probably the only things not to make this a 10/10 holiday. Staff and so welcoming and rooms spacious, in good condition and cleaned daily. I’d go again in a heartbeat. The cost, well I’d rate it as a solid VFM.
Just what we needed. This hotel is special in every way. The pool, the food but especially the people. We were made to feel special from the off. The staff are just lovely and friendly, really seem to care. We stayed B&B as there are some lovely restaurants to explore in the vicinity. We recommend Therino, Stamna, Kyano and Thallassa. The latter is part of the complex and well worth trying (thanks Marios). Make sure to visit Chania as it exceeded our expectations, a really lovely place especially on a night. Take a bus as it stops outside the hotel and only €2.40 each. It was our anniversary while we were there and the reception came to our room with a beautiful cake and bottle of Prosecco which was a complete surprise to us. The ladies who brought it to our room were lovely. Just a really nice thing to do. It’s this sort of treatment that makes it a 5* hotel. I forget a lot of their names but have to mention Alex on reception for his help and recommendations and Atonis for just being a genuinely nice chap, always stopping us for a chat and to see how our day had gone. Thanks for making our holiday one we will always remember.
We had a wonderful stay at the Minoa Palace hotel in Crete. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a lovely atmosphere that made us feel completely relaxed. The location was excellent for exploring Crete, and the facilities were great. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the food and service were both very enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again.
