Atlantica Ocean Beach Resort

This was our second time visiting this hotel, and once again it exceeded our expectations. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely go above and beyond to make your holiday special. A special mention must go to Yiannis, who was wonderful and helped make our stay so memorable. The food is excellent, both in the snack bar and the restaurants, with plenty of delicious options throughout the day. We also love the location. It's peaceful and relaxing, yet only a short trip into beautiful Chania, giving you the best of both worlds. Sadly, during our stay, we received the devastating news that my brother had passed away back home. It was an incredibly difficult time, but the beautiful surroundings, and the warm atmosphere of the hotel provided a much-needed distraction and comfort when we needed it most. The stunning sunsets were unforgettable, and dining at the Greek à la carte restaurant on the beach was a real highlight of our holiday. We are so grateful for another wonderful stay.

We had a fabulous time at Atlantica Ocean Beach. So many amazing things to mention!! We were shown to our family suite by Katerina who is the most kind hearted amazing staff member, she truly made our trip that next level of luxury just by her customer service. She sorted things out for us when we had any issues and was a great friendly face to have when we had any questions. Her understanding of having young kids is a bonus, she’s amazing!!

The hotel was spotless couldn’t fault it and the entire look of the hotel is modern and just gorgeous for photos. I would recommend getting a family suite as we had so much room for suitcases and clothing plus our own little garden area and loungers!!

We loved the pools there is a pool for every age, splash pool perfect for under 3s, another area for 3-8/10 and then over 10s slides which were like being at a water park!! So much fun and they sell lidos and balls etc at the hotel to use in there although some people do leave freebies when they go home so lookout! Perfect temperature and pool staff keep everything clean always coming to pick up rubbish and empty drink glasses.

The food was good always something for the kids as well as us with themes every night and puddings for every meal!! Fresh fruit, salads, meats, vegetarian options and roasted joints every night, so many things I could mention but Mexican night isn’t to be missed it was amazing!!! The two other restaurants you can dine at are included, Oregano is the Greek one which was an incredible experience food was amazing. You sit on the seafront and have the best waiters ever. Food for kids had good options too.

Jasmine restaurant is the only thing that really let the hotel down the service wasn’t amazing and the food was just ok. I think they’d be better to get rid of that one completely as it wasn’t anything spectacular and absolutely nothing to feed the kids here!!!!

Entertainment was good too and worth the watch, my kids loved the mini disco and danced every night for an hour before bed!!! Great for wearing them out.

The room was always cleaned really well and we had no issues at all during our trip. A lot of reviews are based on small rooms but the family suite or swim up rooms are huge and definitely worth spending the extra. Wouldn’t hesitate to come again it was fantastic!!
