Very friendly hotel amazing staff and place in Ierapetra. Cheers to Rania and Angelous.
If you are looking for a relaxing, high-quality getaway, look elsewhere. This hotel is light-years away from its online promises. The photos on their website are clearly heavily edited to suggest a premium experience that simply does not exist.
Noisy, Dated, and Uncomfortable Rooms: The rooms are severely outdated and, at best, only partially renovated. Moldy grout in the shower made the bathroom feel unhygienic. The air conditioning was loud yet provided almost zero cooling. Opening the balcony door for fresh air was impossible due to speeding traffic night and day. To make matters worse, the loud, continuous humming of the soft-serve ice cream machine in the dining room buzzed non-stop—we could hear it clear as day in our room, even at night!
A "Beach" and "Bar" Experience That’s Almost Comical: The hotel is separated from an nearly unkept beach by a heavily trafficked main road. Slippery, hazardous rocks make entering the sea a chore. Because the beach is public, there was constant noise and screaming children—completely defeating the point of a booked "Adults-Only" resort. As for the "Beach Bar"? There isn't one. The poor waiter had to run across the dangerous main road to fetch drinks from the main building, often waiting 5 minutes just to cross traffic with a tray of beverages. Utterly absurd.
Canteen-Level Dining: Forget about promised show cooking or beautifully set tables. What you get is a noisy, depressing canteen atmosphere with mismatched placemats, dirty glasses, and lukewarm, tasteless food. Even basic breakfast juices were constantly empty. The non-stop drone of the ice cream machine ruined every meal.
Isolated Location: There is no bus stop nearby, and reaching Ierapetra requires walking through run-down, sketchy-feeling side streets that do not feel safe at night. Having traveled around Crete before, we have seen far better areas.
Verdict: Despondent staff, zero peace and quiet, and subpar facilities. Save your money and stay somewhere that actually respects its guests!
Nowhere else can you experience such a wonderful hospitality as here. The staff are amazing - they’re always friendly and helpful, and they truly pay attention to their geuests. The food is delicious and varied, and the hotel and rooms are very nice, elegant and clean. The hotel’s location is also perfect. It has direct access to its own beach, which is never overcrowded, so you can relax and enjoy the beach in peace. The town is also just a short walk away, making it ideal for those who want a bit of city life.
The hotel truly caters to every need. It’s the perfect destination for those who just want to relax on the beach, for those who love hiking and exploring, and for those as well who enjoy strolling through the city, shopping, and nightlife. It also offers outstanding service for the price. The food is excellent, and their gyros are simply unlike any other. The staff welcomes you and treats you as if you were old friends; no matter what request you have, they’re always more than happy to help. The hotel is modern and aesthetically pleasing both inside and outside, the rooms are well-equipped and clean, and the view from them is beautiful.
We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was great, but the staff really made our holiday special.
The girls at reception were lovely, and a huge thank you to Rania! She was so kind, friendly, and always ready to help. She helped us organize a birthday celebration and made sure everything was just the way we wanted.
The food was delicious, and we really loved how easy it was to order food and drinks on the beach using the QR code.
Amazing hotel, great atmosphere, and truly wonderful staff. We felt very welcome and well taken care of.
Thank you so much from our whole family! We had a fantastic time and would definitely love to come back!
