Rooms are big and cleaned every day ,but our room "garden view" was exactly on the main road, traffic, noise all night. Breakfast almost same.About staff, the ladies for cleanining and from kitchen polite.But the lady from the bar was rude, unprofessional.It is not allowed to drink even water from outside and if we entered with one bottle of water in our hand she was giving us lecture. As a place is closed to the beach.Many beaches around, very nice, with sand.Nice places to eat, affordable prices.

Hokkiny Hanny nice place, but the accomodation average

The hotel Is the best, the sea Is the best, the pool Is the best. But really, everything is great. Our room had problem, but everything was handled, so we got a different one right after we got here. Maybe the prizes of drinks are a bit more expensive for us. But that would be it.

Still currently here with a few days left to go and really is a lovely place. Staff work incredibly hard and are always happy and polite. The cleaners do an amazing job (thank you for your artistic designs with night wear!) The restaurant staff are lovely, especially the beautiful elegant blonde lady, always smiling. The food is excellent with different choice every day, credit to the chef! 
Rooms are spacious with plenty of storage. Huge thank you to the lovely blonde lady on reception who got us moved within the hour due to a slight problem with my daughters bed and to the maintenance guy who fixed shower in seconds, nothing is too much of a problem. The surrounding area is ideal, with many bars, shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The beach is only 1 minute walk away, with crystal clear water. The hotel never seems busy and most importantly nobody reserves sunbeds so you can enjoy a lie in! All the guests are friendly and polite, especially the British family from Essex! I highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to return, thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfect in every way

An excellent hotel, very niceeeee view and great food!!!!!!!!!! A greatttt choice for you if you want  to get rest...!!!The staff there ti very kind and helpfulll with everything you need!!!!!!! I fully recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

an excellent choice

Very chilled hotel, we were here for 10 days. Quiet time of year, very chilled, got lots of rest, hotel staff were lovely, good sized rooms, beds comfy. Close to the beach and local cafes and bars, supermarket. 

Rooms cleaned every day, food also very nice. Lots of variety at dinner time. 

Local buses every 25mins to take you to Herkalion, Hersonissos, Malia. 

Id defo recommend the hotel if your after a chilled relaxing holiday. We really enjoyed our time here.

Chilled and relaxing time

This property is 1 minute walk from the beach. Just 50 m from the sandy beach, Marilisa Hotel is situated in the centre of Kokkini Hani village. The property boasts an outdoor pool with free sun loungers and a poolside bar. Free WiFi is available throughout. 

Rooms at Marilisa Hotel are bright and spacious. Each opens to a balcony or terrace with garden, pool or sea views. There is a satellite TV, safety box and a fridge in every room. 

Guests may enjoy breakfast or dinner with a variety of traditional Cretan and international dishes by the pool. Sports activities such as water ski, canoe and jet ski are available in a nearby beach.
