We really enjoyed our stay at Kalliston resort! We stayed a week ago, and it was lovely. We especially recommend the Asian restaurant, it was a highlight! The pools are nice, but we would like to have heated water during cooler weather. Still, I really enjoyed the aqua aerobics with Tania. All the staff were polite, with special shoutouts to Maria from the customer experience team and Eleni at reception. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing vacation, and we highly recommend visiting Chania as well, it’s absolutely beautiful!
The massage and the facial treatment were so relaxing that I kept falling asleep. Puii did such a good job that I will book another treatment with her while I am in Crete.
Location is fantastic. Right on a beach in a beautiful bay. The staff are absolutely lovely, very attentive, and our room upgrade was an extremely welcome touch. Sadly the weather was pretty awful so we booked a massage at the spa. Thie spa is run as a separate entity by Aegeo Spas That was an excellent way to spend an hour. A brilliant back massage from Puii. My only issue with the hotelwould be concerning the lunch options. They closed the Italian restaurant due to bad weather so the only place to get anything to eat at lunch time was either a booking at the Greek restaurant or a very small selection of salads and wraps from the tiny take away cafe. Both beach and pool bars were closed too so everyone ended up being huddled in rather uncomfortable seating next to the main bar. Even though it is an all inclusive hotel you have to pay to eat at the pool bar when it is open anyway , which is a bit odd.
We stayed for a week, 29 Sep – 6 Oct, and had a great time.
A special word for Maria at reception, who checked us in on our first day. She made sure we got a lovely refurbished twin room with pool access by the lagoon, and looked after us all week: a great restaurant recommendation, genuine interest in where we had eaten, and when I got oil stains on a new pair of shorts, she arranged a quick laundry service. Warm, attentive and professional – the kind of person who makes a hotel.
The sauna and massages were excellent. The gym was well equipped. Breakfast was excellent.

Just returning from a lovely 10 day stay at the Atlantica Kalliston Resort even though the first half of the trip was affected by poor weather. Hotel has some good restaurants albeit quite pricey compared to the local tavernas which we used once the weather improved. Lovely beach setting with easy access to Chania via regular bus service. Staff always polite and helpful Special mention for Maria on reception Fantastic personality and great credit to the hotel. Ciao Maria !
