We will be back
We arrived late in the evening and received a lovey welcome. As we missed our evening meal we were able to swap it for lunch on departure day. There are lots of shops & restaurants if you walk to the left or right of the hotel. To the left there is a sports bar called Loco Cafe which we enjoyed. The shop opposite the hotel sells cheaper bus tickets to Chania. We visited this city a few times as we loved the vibe. Our special place was the jar cafe which has its own lake with turtles. We also visited in the evening which was far busier and a ‘free for all’ to get the bus back. The day time is more relaxed. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. We can’t fault our stay. The food is very nice, always plenty of choice. If you book the themed restaurants check the menu first, if you have an any food allergy you may be restricted. We always got a sun-bed; they are often available to about 10.30am, there are 3 outdoor pools as well as a garden and beach area with sun-beds.
Yoga star made the holiday
Fantastic Holiday….. made even better by attending each morning to an amazing Yoga class by the magnificent view on the beach with the beautiful Yoga teacher Tania who made the perfect start to my day 🙏🏻
Well definitely return
We have just come home from a perfect week at the Atlantica Kalliston. We booked bed and breakfast only and were glad we did as there were plenty of lovely restaurants near by on the beach front to try.
We visited Chania twice on the bus which leaves from just outside. The journey is around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Definitely worth a visit.
The hotel is right on the Sandy beach. There are always sunbeds available and it was nice to see staff removing towels from beds that had been reserved and not used for ages in the morning, we never felt crowded and there is plenty of space.
The breakfast buffets was one of the best we’ve had in any resort- so much variety and never crowded. The only slight disappointment was slightly weak coffee but we could have paid for cappuccinos or others had we wanted.
A special mention goes to the staff at the hotel who all couldn’t do enough for us. They all went above and beyond. We loved Pinelope at the ice cream bar who was so lovely every day.

A fantastic place to relax and recuperate
Situated perfectly this hotel is the perfect place for couples or young adults to unwind and recuperate. The rooms, restaurants and facilities were of the highest standard and the staff really looked after us. We’ll definitely be coming back.
