Hotel is very good! Service is on high quality! Water parks, beach, lunch, snack bars are excellent, hotel personnel is very kind, clearance of Rooms is very good! Entertainment actions especially on the evening is different and interesting as for children as parents! Just only one point is to need to pass high speed road from Annex buildings of hotel to the main part and beach. Unfortunately , no traffic lights or pedestrians way to pass it especially with kids but it's closed to the main building. It has to be improved. Sea, beach, seaview, lobbies are excellent. Lifeguards are very professional but very kind and sincere. Meals are amazing! Special thanks one of the hotel's Manager Mr.Antonis! Although it's officially 4* but actually, as my and my family's opinion, it's 5*. Thanks a lot!Much appreciated!
I did not lodge in this hotel but we ate in their buffet restaurant. We had an excellent experience at All inclusive taverna restaurant in Hersonissos, Crete. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our visit. The restaurant was immaculate and very well maintained. The food selection was great and everything tasted fresh. A particular highlight was the shrimp tartlet with avocado — beautifully presented and full of flavor. Easily one of the best buffet experiences we’ve had in Greece. All drinks, this includes wine and beer are included for the buffet price of €30. Family was happy and my son had their strawberry cone ice four times. Highly recommend!
15€ for day pass to use water park so not too expensive. 8€ for a sun bed. Great fun. Slides good some fast. Be warned life guards not fully paying attention. Multiple people launching down slides before the bottom is clear, smashing into people. Severely hurt my foot. Food not too bad but waiters in fast food restaurant miserable and basically chuck you meal on the table. Good for a couple of hours. No longer, packed with booze cruise teenagers and can imagine staying here would be a nightmare with all the pumping music from around 2pm! Beach dirty and full of washed up seaweed. Be mindful of current as it can drive you into the rocks and water sports again don’t acknowledge swimmers so be careful. Nephews enjoyed it
We visited the star beach water park for a day and had a fantastic time. My husband and two sons (17 and 13 ) bought wrist bands for the slides priced 15 euros a band and we got two sun loungers priced 8 euros each and 4 euro for a brolly. We were there all day until 6 at night and the boys said it was excellent and the best day of the holiday. The life guards on the slides were really friendly and my sons and huaband said they were having a good laugh with them. We bought soft drinks from the bar and they were 3 euros each. We had a great day and would definitely recommend paying the water park a visit.
So poorly organised. No information of where to go when you arrive, what tickets include or where you can and can not sit. My friend and I actually just walked into the "party" area at first without anyone checking our tickets or questioning us at all. But as we had paid 35 euros each for the pleasure of little orange wristbands, we dutifully found the two girls who looked like they would rather be anywhere else and had our qr codes scanned. We found free loungers but alas, after ten minutes we were informed these were the VIP seats. If only there were a way to communicate this to the public perhaps in the form of written word on a sign... But we moved, and with no other available sunloungers due to the fact they seemed to have sold tickets to the every young holidaymaker this side of Crete, we dumped our stuff next to a tree. It may have been a VIP only tree but we didn't stay long enough to find out. Because after 20 euros for two watered down drinks, we decided we'd be better off just leaving as their definition of a party is the exact same atmosphere as the hotel we were staying in, except four times the people and the music a little louder.
