Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Nadia was the best. I was made to feel super relaxed. The full body massage was amazing.
We had such a fantastic stay at King Minos and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The resort is beautiful, location was great, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff really helped make our holiday feel special. We had a great time from start to finish and would definitely consider coming back.
Our room was incredibly comfortable with a nice sea view which we were not expecting but very grateful for. The amenities in the room were great, and spacious too.
The bar staff were brilliant and (mostly) always so friendly and welcoming, but Dionisios deserves a special mention. He was honestly the standout for us - incredibly personable, funny and genuinely lovely. He always made the effort to chat with us, remembered us throughout our stay and made our evenings even more enjoyable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his personality really added to our experience. He is a real credit to the hotel!
The drinks were also fantastic, with plenty of choice and everything we had was fab - I will mention though that cocktails are not included within the all inclusive plan.
We also had a massage in the spa, which was great, which Eva kindly facilitated the booking of for us. Thank you Eva! The indoor pool is also a lovely vibe, especially to get out of the sun when burnt (oops!)
If we could suggest one area for improvement, it would be the food. We enjoyed what we had, but we felt that the choice and variety could be better, particularly given the price point of the resort. A little more variety and a wider selection would really elevate the experience.
Overall, though, we had a wonderful holiday and came away with some lovely memories. The beautiful setting, great atmosphere and especially the fantastic staff made our stay a really enjoyable one.

Was a lovely experience, very relaxing and calm. All the staff have been great and would highly recommend, Nadya was my masseuse and was professional and very attentive to my needs.
I had a wonderful massage experience at the hotel wellness spa. A huge thank you to Agyiki and Nadya for their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. They created such a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, and the massage was exactly what I needed to unwind and feel refreshed.
The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. I highly recommend to anyone staying at king Minos hotel or in the area and looking for a truly relaxing spa treatment.
We cannot fault the hotel itself or the food as it has been beautiful, however, we did experience an issue during our stay with nearby construction noise which has impacted the use of our private pool room at times. After a few days we raised this as a persistent issue as it became frustrating when we were trying to relax. The works are not related to this hotel but are very close to one particular block of rooms. There was a slight delay in discussing and resolving the matter, however, we have spoken with guest relations after following up today with Jet2, who could not be apologetic enough for the misunderstanding in being unable to reach us yesterday and we have reached an alternative agreement for the final 24 hours of our stay. Thank you for your help in getting to the bottom of this and offering a solution.
We booked with Jet2 who did not advise of any nearby works but we believe there should be some awareness of this ahead of time. In hindsight I wish I was aware of the ongoing works before arriving instead of guessing how long it may go ok for over the first few days and heading out to avoid it - if we were aware and raised the issue earlier in the week, we may have been able to switch rooms at some point despite the hotel being fully booked. Works generally go on until mid afternoon and then it is a bit quieter.
Room 4018 is a beautiful room with a spacious patio, loungers and table set overlooking the main pool. It’s private with the fences and some greenary but not closed in. This room gets sun in the mornings and it is then shady in the afternoons.
We stayed on a half board basis therefore utilised the fridge in our room for snacks and drinks whilst on our terrace, we did go out some days and opt for lunch in the restaurant or to sit at the back of the main pool where it was quieter because of the construction noise therefore did frustratingly spend some additional money. Cokes and water etc are a few euros to pay at the end of your stay, drinks are included with breakfast however. Pool bar snack menu is also paid for. Water is €3, cokes are €5 etc. There is a supermarket nearby to grab anything for your room if you don’t wish to use room service.
Overall a fantastic hotel, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we were located elsewhere or if construction works nearby were complete.
