I had a beautiful time, unforgettable memories.
On arrival when you first go into reception I personally didnt feel reception vibes were that of a 4* The reception staff are friendly & helpful. We booked our stay through love holidays and reception staff were helpful in finding our booking numbers etc and how to send to them. We got took to our room which was the best part of the hotel. We had booked a swim up rooms but then got upgraded to a junior swim up room, although the only difference i feel was slightly bigger room & bar around our pool. The room was spotless daily, the maid was wonderful and made sure our room was perfect. We had clean towels every day and fresh bedding every other. The swim up room was definitely the highlight of our stay. The guy who served us our drinks at our pool was so friendly and welcoming. The pool was cleaned every night and every morning. The staff at this hotel from cleaning staff, waiters, serving staff really are wonderful human beings and deserve the best and to be acknowdged. The cleaners work from 7 in the morning making sure the grounds of the hotel are pristine right up to the evening. The only criticism I would have is around the main pool the sun loungers could do with a wipe but that is me being picky. The restaurant is clean, but this is where I have an issue. The tables & chairs they need new, they have started by the looks of things but they need to continue right through, some of the chairs feel as though they are about to collapse. The food, nothing is labelled much so not sure what you are getting. This is really off putting. For a 4* hotel i did expect an omelette station for breakfast but there was non. The food is very repetitive and we ate out 4x during our stay. We found a lot of the food was pork, they didnt offer special nights such as Greek tasting night which I think being in Greece would of been a highlight, they did however do a Greek themed animation night so to co-inside i do feel they should of done food so we could sample real Greek traditions. For children there was nothing on offer other than spaghetti and bolognase, chips, pizza but if your child is like mine they wouldn't of ate the pizza as had mushroom or a huge slice of tomato. They did not offer chicken nuggets etc. For breakfast no offer of cereal just musli. Again just another thing that really did make me relived that I did not bring my children on this trip. The alcohol drinks were rubbish, I do feel they were watered down for sure. For all inclusive i was shocked that the food and drinks were so dire. The entertainment was aimed more for the French and German although they were wonderful i did feel that they pushed us aside and didnt engage. Due to this i would not return to this hotel on an all inclusive visit. I would however if the option for self catering I would return. When paying just short of 4k you expect 4* food and drink but this definitely wasn't the case. Staff and the grounds are perfect but the food and entertainment really let it down.
