Perfect for family vacation
Really nice hotel with great service and good food. The hotel room was clean and had everything you needed. The pool was really nice and also the programs the animators created were great. The location is perfect it’s close to the beach. The animators created a fun and nice atmosphere especially Kata, she is a really kind girl and makes sure that you’re comfortable and takes care for your wellbeing. I really enjoyed the time with her and the fun activities she and her team created. I can only recommend.
Great Cretan holiday
Nice place,very good food. Special greetings to George's from the pool bar,Kata from the entertainment team and Manolis from the beach restaurant. Very nice people.👍
Just stopped for a beer
Not staying at the hotel but stopped for beer at the restaurant on the beach front for a beer then decided to eat there we had steamed mussels in fennel and the calamari omg it was amazing the mussels were huge and the juice was amazing had. 2 pittas to mop up the juice the calamari was excellent too dipped in homemade batter so good absolutely amazing soo tasty definitely gonna go back for more
Big shout out to The guys waiting on dimitri and soo sorry can’t spell your name were amazing and so helpful and made our experience in their restaurant

Perfekt für einen schönen Familienurlaub, gut für Paare und befreundete Gruppen
We had wonderful vacations at Astir Beach on Creete! This wonderful, I even forgot to make any pictures as I was just enjoying my time on-site.
The transport from the airport went smoothly on both, the journey to the hotel as well as back to the airport.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly greated by Michalis, the hotel manager (who can speak German). Very friendly, very enedavored and courteous! We even got a fruit basket each, as well as three bottles of greek olive oil and wine - however, this may not be a common thing, but we were in touch with Michalis before via mail-exchange and got to know each other a little bit before visiting Astir Beach.
The rooms were very clean and spacious, the beds very cozy and the rooms were thoroughly cleaned every day. The cleaning staff did a great job!
The food was great and there was almost no hour until 10pm when we could not eat something if we wanted to (with All Inclusive). The breakfast, lunch and dinner were all very comprehensive with regard to both, food as well as drinks. The best places to have dinner are on the outdoor terrace, from where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset every day.
The hotel is situated right by the sea and has a lovely swimming pool area. There are plenty of free sun loungers available by the pool and by the sea.
The bar opens at 10 AM and closes at 11 PM and the staff is simply brilliant! Special shoutout to Sakis the bar chef who is a really entertaining guy who was always in a good mood and remembered his guests preferred drinks quickly - very attentive!
Last but not least: A massive higlight for us was the animation!! The girls did a fantastic job. They were phenomenal with the kids - and with the adults too. The entertainment was on a very high level and we had a loads of fun playing games or simply enjoying their shows. I really must mention Kata and Baru here – stay just as you are and keep up the great work!
The hotel is situated a short distance from the flight path, which is why you can hear aeroplane noise from time to time. However, this did not bother us much and did not stop us from relaxing.
I have heard that extensive renovation work is due to start in the coming off-season, so I suppose we will have to come back to see it for ourselves :-)
