Myself and my son arrived on the 10th August for a 2 week stay. Upon arrival (at 11pm local time) , I was advised that our room was not ready but that for the next two days we would be getting upgraded to a “superior” room. Highly inconvenient considering I have a small child and did not want to have to move and repack. The room itself was average… I will emphasise that none of the rooms look like the pictures that are advertised … I can say this with confidence as we moved 3 times during our stay. I did, however, find the cleanliness acceptable in all of the rooms.
The location was fine, close to the beach and the shuttle from the hotel was helpful… although the staff WILL NOT be flexible and the shuttle only holds about 8 people. It is also close to Heraklion etc soo plenty of shops/restaurants. There is also a little strip about a ten minute walk to the left of the hotel.
The main pool and bar facilities were ok, however, it was very difficult to get a sunbed. The guests seemed to be mainly couples who DID NOT like children having fun on their holidays.
The staff were awful, really abrupt and rude. They communicated nothing about your stay and one of them shouted at another holiday goer when they were reporting an issue with their room. Highly unprofessional and also upset my child. They also spoke to me like I was stupid on several occasions.
The food in the main buffet was alright, same items on offer most of the time, we were half board and didn’t we know it! Pointed out loudly by every staff member who bothered to come near us and do their job … as if it was shameful. They also preferred children to sit in the outside section of the restaurant … together with other families … and the cats.
A holiday that I was extremely excited for was a dupe in my opinion that I could literally go on and on about. It offers next to nothing of what is advertised, the staff are horrible and I would not recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately, it’s a very poor representation of Greece.
Lovely scrub, massage and facial. Spa has lovely atmosphere and staff all lovely- Katya was lovely and great massage. Natural products. Would recommend.
Spa treatments are amazing, recommended a candle full body massage that was done by Emma and it was really what I needed! Hotel overall is okay, a few issues with the room, a little small even with upgrade, bathroom is wet room style with hair dryer right next to shower head to need to wait for it to be dry to calm anxieties lol. We’ve only ended up using 1 out of the 3 restaurants every night but the food is nice, aseana restaurant is booking only and not included in all inclusive. Real standout is the staff, quick service, always friendly and can’t do enough for you. Majority of them speak so many languages I can’t wrap my head around it!
Had a fabulous time at this hotel family of 5 spotless clean and loads of linen towel changes food was quite good for all inclusive breakfast and lunch I felt were better than dinner stayed in a swim up room and a deluxe triple both fab and had a complimentary late check out with was much appreciated The cocktails in all inclusive could be improved like a lot of ready made not great And maybe a bit more regular shuttle to beach We would return if staying on Crete again Guest relations were excellent and helpful when we hired a car
We booked this hotel with my boyfriend to celebrate our first anniversary together. Overall, the hotel is very beautiful, well-maintained and clean. The swimming pools are spacious and well looked after, and we also really enjoyed having entertainment available at the hotel. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, communication was sometimes a little difficult because they did not always understand us clearly, which could occasionally be frustrating. One thing we found disappointing was the sleeping arrangement in our room. We had booked a room with a double bed, but instead we were given two separate single beds. It wasn’t a major problem, but as a couple celebrating our anniversary, we would have preferred to sleep together.
Unfortunately, during the last two days of our stay, we also had an issue with cockroaches in the room, which was quite unpleasant The food was good, with a wide variety of choices, so there was something for everyone. We also went on a day trip and received a breakfast package from the hotel. Unfortunately, we found this a little disappointing, as there was not enough food to keep us going for the whole day.
Another downside was the internet connection, which was very poor and often difficult to use.Despite these points, we had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel itself is beautiful, the facilities are spacious and well maintained, and the variety of food and entertainment were definitely positive aspects of our experience.
