We stayed at Anemos Crete in September on an all-inclusive basis and had a lovely, memorable stay.
We initially booked a Garden View Villa with a private pool, but unfortunately had a brick wall directly behind us, so we decided to pay extra for an upgrade. We were moved to a beautiful Maisonette with a sea view, which made a huge difference and was well worth the upgrade.
The hotel is built on a hillside, so it may be challenging for guests with mobility issues, but the buggy service is excellent and made getting around very easy.
The breakfast had a fantastic variety, including fresh juices and smoothies. The lunchtime buffet was a little disappointing and, for us, lacked the Greek flavours we love. The evening buffet was much better. The à la carte restaurants, however, were excellent. We particularly loved the Seafood Restaurant by the beach, as well as the Cretan Breakfast, Meat & Grill and Italian restaurants. The food at these restaurants was delicious and felt like a lovely fine-dining experience.
The staff throughout the hotel, bars and restaurants were friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Ioanna and Maria, who went above and beyond in helping with our room change and checkout.
One of the highlights was seeing the pool area beautifully lit up in the evening, it looked absolutely magical.
Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. We have taken away some lovely memories and would happily return.
Gorgeous hotel with great staff, the weather was awful but it didn’t stop us having a great time. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The À la Carte restaurant food is delicious and the singers in the evening are very good.
We had a wonderful stay at Anemos Luxury Resort and really enjoyed our time there. The location is excellent, with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere — perfect for relaxing and enjoying a holiday in Crete.
The resort has a lovely atmosphere, combining luxury with a relaxed and welcoming feel. Everything was clean, well maintained and beautifully presented. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
One of the highlights for us was the evening entertainment. We absolutely loved the three African singers who performed one evening. They were amazing — so talented, full of energy and fantastic vibes! They really brought the evening to life and made it a memorable night. Their energy was infectious, and it was impossible not to enjoy yourself!
We also felt that the resort offered good value for money, considering the quality of the accommodation, location, facilities and overall experience.
Overall, Anemos Luxury Resort is a beautiful place to stay, and we would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Crete. We would definitely love to return!
Perfect location for beach lovers with an amazing restaurant, sunbeds and beautiful sea. We felt that the atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming from start to finish. The rooms were large, well furnished, clean and bright, all with a lovely balcony. My friends and I felt the hotel was excellent value for money when you consider the high quality accommodation and the food and drinks on the all inclusive package. The speciality restaurants were amazing ( we were allowed to choose three during our one week stay). We felt that we wouldn't get better better quality or taste even at "Six by Nico". The wine list on the all inclusive was also excellent, as was the quality and choice of the drinks menu on the all inclusive. The attention to detail with food presentation and the extensive choice was second to none. All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean and everywhere looked well cared for. We found the hotel to be quiet which suited us, but it was out of season and there were not many families. We had amazing service from start to finish (with buggy rides back to our rooms, the loan of umbrellas and the attention of the staff in all areas of the hotel). All staff appeared happy and smiled. They appeared to genuinely enjoy looking after the guests. The reception staff were all extremely helpful, were well informed and spoke excellent English. We cannot fault this hotel in any way.
