Firstly I will start by saying how friendly and helpful the staff were. Unfortunately, other than that I would not rate this as a 4 star hotel. Water was cold for showers every day of a 10day stay. Many guests have complained of the same. We were all advised to put air-conditioning on to improve the water temperature?? I do not know the science of this, but it didn't work! We were unfortunate enough to stay in Crete during a cyclone. Weather events are an act of nature but having a dining room completely open to the elements meant it was flooded. Only 2 tables that were completely undercover and everyone else had to wade through water and sit in wet chairs, at wet tables. There was no communal area for guests to be together during this time. Bedroom was on the small side but clean and comfortable. However an open plan room, including bathroom and toilet are not what I would see as 4 star. It is fortunate that my friend and I aren't overly shy with each other, or this could have been very uncomfortable. My friend had been hoping to use the gym to continue her ongoing physio. This was out of action for the whole time. Would I stay here again? Maybe if it was just for a night or 2.
Honestly, this place is incredible! We stayed for a few days to unwind and seriously didn't want to leave at all. The room was spotless, super cozy, and had an amazingly comfortable bed, but what truly won us over was the staff,they are all absolute gems! So warm, friendly, and always smiling. They gave us the best local tips on where to go, kept making sure we had everything we needed, and just made us feel right at home from minute one. The breakfast was also delicious (the coffee and fresh food every morning were the perfect way to start the day). If you're looking for a spot that combines comfort, cleanliness, and people who genuinely care about their guests, look no further. We’ll definitely be back!
Very disappointed with our choice of hotel. We arrived late and shown to our room which was definitely not what we booked. It was so small. Bathroom dirty. Wardrobe door broken and exposed wires on bedside light. We were moved to a much larger room with a lovely sea view, but still the cleanliness was not up to standard. Costos on reception very helpful. Breakfast bland and cold. Pool area ok but sunbeds stained and ripped. Lots of steps and difficult to find our way around. Loved Elounda but would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel needs some serious TLC. Faulty appliances, cold showers and shaker hanging off the pipe. Breakfast is disgusting, cold and bland! Pool nice, but sunbeds all ripped and stained. Loads of steps to the rooms and it’s like a maze. Reception never manned and when you complain nothing happens - Elounda lovely but will stay somewhere else.
