A perfect setting for a perfect vacation in Greece, this hotel is situated in the beautiful small traditional fishing village resort of Elounda, located on the shore of Mirabello Bay just north of the famous town of Aghios Nikolaos which is just a short drive away. For a break from the beach day under the sun, tourists can visit the small island of Spinalonga with its ruins of an ancient Venetian fortress. Set amidst colourful Cretan gardens, the whitewashed bungalows slope away from the unobtrusive main building down to the private sandy cove and mirror the original intention of the owners to create a 'hotel for couples'. When the day of swimming in the sea, soaking up the sun or exploring the sights is over, guests can unwind with a drink on their own private balconies or step out for a delicious authentic dinner in one of the tavernas nearby.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
A very mixed experience. We had a massage at the spa with Grace and Ching - who were both fabulous definitely recommend. The hotel facilities and food were good- special mention to the separate onsite restaurants where the food was amazing! Disappointment was with the room- paid for the apartment with a private pool- which looks lovely but you can’t actually use as we got no sun on the patio whatsoever- don’t bother with the extra expense! The plan was to enjoy the private pool and sunbathe in our own apartment but couldn’t. The sea view….. just about over a white brick wall! Stick with a standard room.
Brilliant service from all the staff at Elounda. It’s our second visit (we very rarely go back to the same place, however we loved it here so much we returned). Nicolette in the mini mart is amazing, so friendly and so kind. She didn’t have something I came in the shop to buy so she went in her own time to the chemist to get it for me. Had a lovely facial from Nina during our stay too! Thanks again for such a perfect visit back, and for remembering us :) x
Excellent massage in all respects. Will definitely go back when we next visit this hotel and will ask for Ching who was wonderful 😊

We had a couples massage, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! My therapist, Nina, is honestly the best in the world. Her massage was incredible, and she created such a warm, relaxing atmosphere that made the whole experience truly special. Nina is not only a lovely, warm-hearted person but also an absolute professional who clearly knows exactly what she is doing. Her hands are magical, and you can tell she genuinely cares about making you feel relaxed and looked after. I cannot recommend her highly enough! If you’re visiting the spa, make sure you ask for Nina. You can be confident that you’ll be in the very best hands. She deserves all the praise in the world! Thank you, Nina, for such an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back!
