A perfect setting for a perfect vacation in Greece, this hotel is situated in the beautiful small traditional fishing village resort of Elounda, located on the shore of Mirabello Bay just north of the famous town of Aghios Nikolaos which is just a short drive away. For a break from the beach day under the sun, tourists can visit the small island of Spinalonga with its ruins of an ancient Venetian fortress. Set amidst colourful Cretan gardens, the whitewashed bungalows slope away from the unobtrusive main building down to the private sandy cove and mirror the original intention of the owners to create a 'hotel for couples'. When the day of swimming in the sea, soaking up the sun or exploring the sights is over, guests can unwind with a drink on their own private balconies or step out for a delicious authentic dinner in one of the tavernas nearby.

My partner and I are currently at the Aquila Elounda Village, as stated as a 5 star luxury resort/ hotel, we have so far after 5 nights have very mixed feelings on the Hotel and facilities, although the hotel entrance is very luxurious, the villas are very basic is appearance and the pillows extremely hard and uncomfortable, the hotel setting is 5 star, but the evening food experience in the buffet restaurant is very poor, lack of staff on the evening meaning tables lining up with empty plates, what staff there is they are running around doing there best with no guidance from management, very slow service and not attentive to guest requirements who are expecting the 5 star experience.
Bar areas a completely different experience, very tentative staff, happy to meet with what ever you require, great job to the evening bar staff.
Management- our room is 750 , we advise you to place a manger in the evening dining / restaurant room , to oversee their staff and make sure your clients are receiving a 5 star experience they have paid for.

We had the most amazing time at the Aquila Elounda Village hotel! Staff have been amazing, especially Captain Konstantinos and his crew! Food has been spectacular and the choice of pools/ beach area and not having to worry about getting up at silly o’clock to get a sunbed has been great! Views were also incredible and I’d recommend getting up early one morning to see the sunrise!
Incredible meal at Mirabello restaurant
Had the most amazing meal at Mirabello Resturant with Captain Konstantinos and his crew. The food was exquisite as was the incredibly attentive service. We ate here three times during our nine day trip and it was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. Ps ask for more bread ( it’s incredible) and try the crème brûlée
