Where have people stayed before if you think this hotel is good must have stayed in a 2 star hotel. It’s horrific the hotel itself is clean but that’s it. The food is like eating a traps toe nail the drinks are disgusting. The staff are rude and don’t interact at all, stupid rules no entertainment at all except at lunchtime when you see the food. Band cut off at checkout so can’t use restaurant or bars 1am. Google reviews say it all as the ones on here must be made up. It’s a absolute joke of a hotel. And believe me I have stayed in better in Afghanistan
This location was beautiful and peaceful. A 30 minute taxi ride from the Old Town and an hour to the airport. Mainly adult guests makes for a relaxing stay. We booked a suite, it had a bedroom, bathroom and lounge along with a large balcony and a spectacular view. Rooms are cleaned as regularly as you request via the website. Other than reception and one bar staff we had very little interaction with many staff members. There is no daytime or evening entertainment at this resort so be prepared to entertain yourselves. Days were spend around the adult pool reading, going to the beach for which the hotel provides a minibus or out in the Old Town, minibus provided at 11 euros return trip. At the beach there are free sunbeds but the AI doesn't extended to the restaurant there. The food at this resort really does let it down but the wine is good as are other drinks. This hotel is rated at a 5* resort, having stayed in other 5* resorts this one did not make the standard in my opinion and I am basing my review on the restaurant experience. Food is poorly labeled and repetitive. There are no live cooking stations where you know you are getting fresh food and the wine.......warm. It's a shame that the food lets the resort down as it is in the most beautiful location.
Wow, what a place, the lady on the bar upstairs so lovely, friendly and genuine I wished she work at my pub back home, Konstantina, such a great employee, the hotel are very lucky to have her, thanks for making us have the best holiday, because of you xxx
So we arrived here a little anxious from reviews i didnt need too the place was lovely staff all friendly think thr waiting staff in restaurant could cheer up a little but i get it they work hard and alot i seen them everyday ..it is a little bit hilly if disabled you woukd struggle there is a slope to the bar walk on the right side i walked the left at start and slipped really badly hurting my elbow ...the beach i git the free shuttle dont leave your goods under ur sunbed as the waves come right up n take it away tbh i wouldnt take young children as the waves are brutal even pulled me back but restaurant there and staff lovely too the drinks here range from 5 lager to 12 cocktails chips 8 euro but didnt have any when we there only lobster octopus etc... We found the hotel itself very relaxing we loved it the coffees for 2 euro outstanding hubby loved them the cats were cute friendly esp the ginger one sat at window waiting for kids to stroke it was cute ...the onky thing i could say to improve is put steps bottom of ramp and entertainment on night with a proper area to watch it
My daughter and I stayed at this resort for nine nights from 23 August, and we are genuinely baffled as to how it has achieved a five-star rating.
From the moment we arrived, there were warning signs. The exterior of the hotel is a plain stone building, and the bright artificial lighting inside did little to create a welcoming atmosphere. The reception area is located downstairs and accessed via a small lift or staircase. There was no one available to greet guests or assist with luggage. The reception area was also cluttered with suitcases, which we later discovered was because the hotel does not provide dedicated luggage storage.
Unfortunately, the staff did not improve our first impression. While some were pleasant, many appeared uninterested or unhappy. One receptionist in particular, Peny, was consistently rude and unhelpful. If we needed to visit reception, we genuinely hoped she would not be on duty.
The rooms are very basic and housekeeping must be booked online each day for the following day. When serviced, the standard of cleaning was disappointing, consisting mainly of bed-making and a quick sweep of the floor. Another inconvenience was that only one room key is provided per room, which is far from ideal when travelling as a family or when guests want to do different activities around the resort.
We spent most of our time at one of the adults-only pools, which initially seemed to be one of the resort's better features. However, we were surprised to find that the pools did not open until 10:00am each day, which seemed unusually late for a holiday resort and often resulted in guests waiting around in the morning. We witnessed a cleaner filling a bucket directly from the pool, using the water to mop the floor and soak paper towels in the pool before wiping down tables, all while smoking. When I reported this to Peny at reception, she appeared completely uninterested and simply stated that she would inform her manager, adding that there was nothing she could do because she was not the cleaner. None of the pools have lifeguards or any members of staff nearby.
Food and drink were another major disappointment. There is only one buffet restaurant which is more like a canteen which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with the same bland food offered daily, often only lukewarm. The staff do not take you to a table or serve you, they simply clear plates. A self-service snack bar near the main pools provides lukewarm pizza slices, basic pasta, breadsticks and a small handful of other options.
During the day, all drinks are self-service. In the evenings, guests must queue, often for more than ten minutes, at one of only two bars. Guests are limited to two drinks per visit, cocktails come from a machine, and only house spirits are available after 7pm.
The resort operates a minibus service to a small section of beach around ten minutes away. However, the sunbeds are old and uncomfortable, and there are no all-inclusive food or drink options available there.
Overall, this resort falls far short of the standards expected of a five-star property. Poor service, questionable cleanliness practices, repetitive food and inadequate facilities resulted in a very disappointing holiday experience.
