This holiday was booked for me as a birthday present! This trip was booked via a 3rd party (issues were had HOWEVER this was not linked with the hotel). The hotel staff accommodated us so well and I am so happy with how helpful they were.
ESPECIALLY KONSTANTINA! Konstantina worked at one of two bars at this resort. She was AMAZING. The sweetest lady ever. So quick with the service, funny and made us feel so welcome. Alongside Theologos.
We booked for the all inclusive so all drinkies were non stop! Yummy cocktails. The food also was very yummy. Breakfast, Lunch AND Dinner was delicious and had a variation of foods each day. The food was mostly traditional Greek (obviously expected) however there were also options for vegetarians plus ‘picky eaters’.
The rooms were clean, ours had a beautiful view on the balcony and spacious. The bed was also SO comfy - the best feeling after long travels, long sunbathing and long cocktail sipping.
There was also quite a lot to do: 4 pools, 2 bars - specific ‘national nights’ for entertainment! One bar (Dionyssos) had pool tables, air hockey, sofas, a great atmosphere and arcade machines!
For the affordability of this package trip, I really am not disappointed. There was a free shuttle to take you to the beach also (10min drive) and they offered transport services to the town centre (11€ per person - round trip). Unfortunately we did not have time to explore the town but I have heard the BEST reviews so definitely worth going.
Really enjoyable stay, lovely staff throughout, Konstantina in the main bar is a star!! Room decorated to a high standard and never a problem getting a sunbed. Great place to go and spend some chilled times to relax.
Check out was so annoying, receptionist extremely rude, took our bands off and told us the only place available is the snack bar. The snack bar is at the bottom of the site. Receptionist needs to have some decorum training!!
I loved how quiet and relaxing the entire property felt. The natural setting creates a sense of calm that is hard to find. The food was exceptional, the facilities were plentiful, and the staff provided service with a genuine smile.
When I book a 5 star resort, I expect 5 start treatment, ESPECIALLY at an extra €15 a night. I expect my cocktails to be made by hand, not by a machine, I don’t expect my room to be full of ants, I expect functioning amenities, I expect a very good variety of food, and I expect at least one station in the restaurant where the food is being cooked then and there. The only thing I can’t fault here are the views. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to “their” beach however you are expected to pay for a sun-bed and any drinks there, you cannot bring your own. out of 4 pools not one is heated, all are cold. The plumbing in the rooms is dreadful and if you want a shower that stays warm throughout then you need to wait until around 10/11pm. They only give you one bottle of water for your room for your entire stay, not every other night or every week, per stay! Even if you are here for 10 days you are expected to use the same plastic water bottle between everyone in your room. reusing single-use plastic water bottles carries health risks primarily from bacterial buildup and chemical leaching over time. I will say breakfast is rather impressive with a good variety that will definitely have something for everyone. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but due to the amenities, absurd extra charges and general cleanliness, I will be leaving as many stars as I believe this resort should be classed as.
