This charming and rustic hotel is set right on the coast, just a short walk from the small, sandy coves as well as the city centre of Chersonissos. The town offers various shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment venues, many open 24 hours a day, and numerous sites with ancient ruins can be found throughout the area and the island. The hotel has 196 standard rooms and 8 maisonettes, all air-conditioned and furnished with en suite bath, balcony or terrace, refrigerator and satellite TV. Guests can energize for the day in the hotel gym, relax in the sauna and hammam or by the outdoor pool, play tennis, table tennis or billiards, and enjoy Greek and Cretan themed evening entertainment after a delicious meal at the hotel restaurant. Tasty treats and refreshments can be found throughout the day at the snack bar and lounge bar, and guests can indulge in breakfast in bed with room service. The perfect place for a relaxing, sunny holiday in Crete.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
My wife and I were here for a week; first the good bits: the staff and service were all great, the food was good as was the drink. I didn't like the location; it was on a narrow road next to the sea. Many people walk on this road, but there is traffic on this small road too, with hired cars, motorbikes and quadbikes etc, and they don't seem to know the rules or indeed care; there is also a subsidence problems on the road where it is right next to the shore, with some of the road already having slipped away, and therefore it is a bit dangerous in my opinion. Another problem with the location is that there isn't much either to the left or right of the hotel. A brisk walk into town takes fifteen minutes, and being up a bit of a hill, older folk won't want to do it, to the left there is a nice twenty-minute walk next to the shore, but after you have done it a couple of times, well? With regards to our room, it was kept immaculate by the cleaning staff, however, the bathroom was tiny, only one person could be in it at a time, and the floor was the most slippy that I had ever come across. To get into the shower, one had to step up into the bath tub, and ours was quite a step to get into it. I found that the combination of the steep step-up and the dodgy slippery floor both dangerous and annoying to use. Fortunately for us, we always take a shower mat with us on holiday as we have had probelms in the past. As for the view from the balcony well it was obscured by an Olive Tree. And the walls of our room seemed quite thin as we could hear everything that out neighbours were doing! If you just want to lay on a beach, or around the pool, all day then this hotel is for you.
Just came back again this is always my favorite place to stay wonderful and warm hospitality A the reception team, who always welcome me with so much warmth, kindness, The room was wonderful, beautifully clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent. I would also like to thank all the staff for their genuine care. A very special thank you to the General Manager for personally looking after me throughout my stay and making sure that everything was perfect. A warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The appearance of this hotel is very deceiving as the buildings and gardens are beautiful but our room was horrible. It probably hasn’t been decorated since the place was built. There was artex thrown at the walls, broken tiles in the bathroom, broken shower rail so the water went all over the floor, a peculiar old radio in a bedside cupboard, and a disgusting smell of urine coming up through a drain in the bathroom. Meals in the restaurant were like school dinners and we went along the road to a restaurant one night to get an authentic Greek dinner.
