General view

This is a wonderful hotel and the staff treated us like family. We stayed for our honeymoon and my 40th birthday in august 2024. The staff are very personable and professional. I got to witness this first hand when, after offering to reimburse a guest for a pair of shoes that had gone missing, the member of staff was screamed at. They remained calm at all times although they did have to be firm about the other guests behavior. The staff also have great recommendations and were very knowledgeable about chania and the surrounding areas. The breakfast was wonderful as was the hotel restaurant who arranged a lovely chocolate cake for my 40th. The restaurant manager was particularly passionate about the food and service. I would love to come back and stay again some day. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. Thank you for making our stay so special.

We arrived late and were greeted by the most delightful Georgia and her team. They made us feel so welcomed including complimentary drinks.  Every single staff member was nicer than the other.The room was lovely and spacious. The location of this hotel is ideal and a 15 minute walk to old Chania.

Incredible jewel

We visited for our wedding anniversary here for an evening meal.
The hotel reception was warm and welcoming. The manager attended to us and made sure we were sat comfortably and had one of the best tables for the view of the sunset.
Views wise: Lovely and beautiful sunset if you time it right. The booking (highly recommend booking in advance) is straightforward and the lovely receptionist recommended the best times for the sunset.
The food: I could not fault anything with it. Beautifully presented, tastes great and most are excellent.
The service: is again second to none, the manager even lend me a hook on my table to hang my precious handbag. He also gave us a very beautiful memento of a picture. Which was a lovely touch.
The toilet: is very clean, the only minor issue is it’s located on a different floor which you need to take a lift for. 
Overall, I could not fault the food, views & service we had that evening. Thank you so much Chania Flair Restaurant.

Nice views

Firstly, the staff and in particular the front desk manager was extremely kind to us and allowed for an early check in, for which we were very grateful. All the staff was really nice. 
Our room was a "sea view" but the balcony overlooks a messy courtyard. The room was new and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good but the room is quite sad.
It is still walking distance from the old town (20 minutes or so).
Even booking directly online, we found the rate poor value for money, particularly considering we stayed in low season.

Kind staff

This is a sleek, modern, mid-sized hotel on the ocean in Chania and during my off-season stay, they didn't put a foot wrong.

SERVICE: I didn't encounter bad service anywhere in Greece. However here, service was excellent and proactive.  The staff went out of its way to orient and offer suggestions.  Georgia and Sofia at the front desk constantly assisted, and the manager of the restaurant (I never got his name, apologies) was excellent as well.  I was recognized as Hilton Gold, my status benefits were honored, and that was appreciated.
ROOM: I was upgraded for my stay to a room with a sea view from the balcony, which was greatly appreciated.  The views were lovely - the window overlooked the buildings across the street so occasionally I used privacy curtains.  I was on the fourth floor, there was no street noise.  The room was handsomely decorated in a modern style, with "smart" features.  The mini-fridge contained complimentary still water bottles and soda cans as well as sparkling wine for a fee.  The bathroom, with a large walk-in shower, was quite handsome, with plenty of amenities.
FOOD: Breakfast was in a restaurant downstairs, and began with a rolling cart of juice and pastries, then a main dish made to order and served to you.  It was quite good, reasonably varied and included Cretan specialties.  
WIFI: No issues
PARKING: Parking was valet, but complimentary.  The hotel has a few on-street parking spots near it, and hotel staff figured out which one worked.  In off season, my car was generally right outside the door.  
LOCATION AND SIGHTS: The hotel is right off the ocean, and there are (pleasant, expensive and touristy) restaurants along the ocean road, and it's also quite pretty at night.  Chania Old Town is largely Venetian, but there are also Minoan ruins.

I had a lovely, relaxing and pampering stay here at a fine property.  The hotel sees itself as a premium option, and everyone I encountered worked to live up to that.  If you're smart enough to stay here when Chania is quiet, they have time to go the extra mile, and they did.  

The only reason you might choose to stay elsewhere is if you have your heart set on staying right in Chania Old Town.  The Flair was about a 12-15 minute walk along the sea to the old town.  If you choose to stay in the Old Town, I strongly suggest you don't bring a car or make sure parking is taken care of.
