- Stella Village Seaside Hotel

The excellent beach hotel Stella Village enjoys a privileged location in Analipsi, only 10 metres away from a private sandy beach. The renowned holiday resort of Hersonissos can be reached within a 10-minute drive. Heraklion, the island's capital where most of the museums as well as an international airport can be found, is just a 20-minute drive away. The hotel provides quick access to highways. The family-friendly hotel offers a range of accommodation types, from rooms to apartments and bungalows. They are bathed in natural light, airy and spacious, and features include air-conditioning, fridge and lateral sea, mountain or garden views. Children will love the mini-club, playground and the 3 children's pools. There are 2 large swimming pools for adults, internet corner and WIFI in the main building, sports facilities as well as two fantastic restaurants and two poolside bars. A wonderful hotel for a family holiday under the Greek sun.
We stayed at Stella Village in July, and unfortunately, we wouldn't go back. While the resort itself has some great qualities, the dining and service quirks really let it down.
The Positives: The resort and hotel grounds are beautiful and kept spotlessly clean. We never struggled to get a sunbed in the mornings, and the main pools were quiet and relaxing, which was a huge bonus. The daytime entertainment and activities were good, and the water park was a lot of fun—though it gets very busy, as it’s the only place with a snack bar serving proper food. Overall, the staff were very friendly.
The Negatives: The food was easily the worst part of our stay. Despite having two restaurants, they serve basically the same selection, and surprisingly, there is no dedicated kids' buffet. The all-inclusive drinks package was also frustrating. It strictly runs from 10 am to 11 pm (you have to pay after that), and drinks are served in annoyingly small glasses. Getting a drink in the restaurant took a very long time, and if you tried to go up to the bar to order one yourself, the staff were not very accommodating. We booked an upgraded room, but our mini-fridge was completely ignored. We didn’t receive a single bottle of water until the last two days of our trip, when they suddenly dropped off seven bottles each day. The nighttime entertainment also left a lot to be desired. Finally, keep in mind that the handful of shops on the beachfront are highly overpriced. You are much better off taking the 15-minute drive into town. Overall, it's a nice-looking resort, but the food and awkward service mean we won't be returning.
Firstly I want to say this hotel is amazing I could not find any faults at all so much so that we are booked to go back next year. The hotel and staff are friendly and accommodating. We had a small gripe with a staff member at the water park but was very quickly resolved by Stella. Ismini at the teen zone was also very polite and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel as all the staff are like one big family and treat all their guests the same. The food is amazing and I’m a fussy eater. Please if you’re considering this hotel just book it you will not be disappointed at all, the animation team were brilliant with all the children and making sure they were never bored with games during the day.
No cons to this hotel.
What a wonderful place to go with your family, we stayed in Stella Village. This place caters for children of all ages. From the entertainment in the day to entertaining the children in the evenings. I highly recommend the teen zone, even us adults enjoyed the teen zone, a special shoutout to Ismini, she was an absolute star and so welcoming while we were in there. I had one gripe which was quickly resolved by management, which was the lifeguard at the water park insisting I stayed with my 17 year old daughter at all times, however I mentioned this to reception and it was quickly resolved. We loved it so much we booked next year while still being here. 1000000% recommended, I will also mention the food was brilliant too. We cannot recommend this place enough, it was absolutely brilliant. Thankyou Stella team
Fantastic holiday great facilities and great staff would definitely recommend for other families and would definitely come again if I visit Grete again.
The room was lovely. Staff were very helpful and friendly . Food, there was a good choice. Pool area, people were arguing over sun beds. One family saved 4 beds every day but only ever used 2. Unfair on others who wanted a sun bed. The bar staff at the pool bar were very friendly. Mediterranean bar was ok but have to pay after 23:00 but in Stella princess you don't have to pay after 23:00. Entertainment could be better, as it is a little boring at night. No Greek night, only if you got to restaurant, which you are only allowed one visit per week. Could not keep our room on the last day but was given another room until 18:00. Had to pay 70 euro per week insurance tax. Overall, nice holiday. I would definitely stay here again
