We had an amazing stay at lyttos beach hotel! Location is perfect - 30mins from airport and directly opposite a beautiful sandy beach. The staff work tirelessly all day and are very friendly and accommodating and entertainment staff are awesome. The hotel is spotlessly clean and rooms are spacious for our family of 4 and the separate rooms works great for us with teenagers. There are so many pools to choose from and we never struggled to find a sunbed despite the school holidays. It never felt crowded. The waterpark is epic and a great combination of smaller slides and big slides. The restaurants were all good our favourite being the meat and grill. So much variety and all tasted amazing! An absolute must do is the beach at sunset - I have never seen such a beautiful sight and we went there most nights to watch.
Now for the bad - we booked a massage for myself and my husband and mine was fabulous but my husband felt frustrated and did not enjoy as we made it clear on booking and arrival that he wanted a female and he had a male which ruined it for him as felt very uncomfortable. There is only 1 pool table for the whole resort- could do with some more especially for older children. My son loves tennis but feel for the price of the hotel this should have been free to guests as felt cross having to pay 20euros for court. He would have loved to join a group session but there was no option for this. The other guests at the hotel were also quite rude and very noisy and not very considerate to sleeping guest - maybe some polite reminders around the hotel could reinforce being considerate to others The hotel was fabulous however came with a very expensive price tag and this may put us off booking next time.
Great place for a family vacation Endlessly opportunities to enjoy, relax and enjoy the summer
The hotel was a little bigger and busier than we had perhaps anticipated beforehand but after the first day we soon discovered which parts of the hotel were our favourites and we never looked back.
Our room was modern, clean and spacious for a family of four and we were pleased with its location overlooking the main pool. The water park is decent and the Olympic pool is great for getting some lengths in which my husband and kids did most days. However we chose to spend most of our days at the main pool where most of the action (and fun!) is.
What really makes this hotel special however, is the entertainment team who work so incredibly hard and sprinkle a little bit of extra sun, sea and fun magic over every single guest they encounter each day. Massive shout out to Hamid and Romeo who were each of our two children’s favourite team members - they made us all smile every day. From making sure we got a table for the evening entertainment to agreeing to an impromptu race around the athletics track - nothing was too much trouble for these lovely young men and for that we are so grateful. In fairness though, every single member of the animation team is superb and their energy levels are off the scale.
The sports programme for both teens and adults is great, and daily water polo and beach volleyball sessions became our holiday staples! The sports facilities are excellent and we’d have also tried out the tennis and padel courts too if it hadn’t been quite so hot.
Our only slight negative was the main restaurant which we found far too busy and not the most pleasant to sit in so we avoided this in favour of other restaurant options which were more preferable for us. Our favourite was the seafood restaurant (sitting outside) next to the circle pool where fresh fish/seafood is cooked to order each evening. This was lovely.
Despite the one negative of the main restaurant as mentioned above, I’ve still given the holiday five stars as the entertainment team more than made up for this and my son’s confession that he’s “never felt so sad about a holiday ending” as we drive away to the airport speaks volumes.
Thank you for making the holiday such a happy memory.

This is a review purely about the towels. You have to swap your towels every morning at the towel point. Which I don’t mind BUT when the towel guy isn’t there, and you swap your own 3 towels for clean ones, you don’t expect to be chased around the pool for them to be taken out of your hands and told ‘you’ve only bought back 1 so you can only have one’. He shouts ‘I know my job’ at me. He wasn’t there! For a 5 star resort, I don’t expect this - Lyttos Beach, speak to your staff, this has upset me and ruined my morning. Over towels!! Do better :-(
The spa treatment is amazing I suffered a stroke last year in October and it’s been my first holiday since the stroke. I had French manicure and pedicure with Marianna she was so gentle and accommodating and looked after so well I felt so good and relaxed. Definitely would go again.
