This hotel is built in Cretian village style and consists of several buildings surrounded by magnificent gardens. The sea is just across the road, and a small bathing cove is located near the hotel. The nearest beach lies about 100 m away. Análipsi lies 1.5 km away and Chersónissos can be reached in 6.5 km. The tastefully furnished rooms at this modern hotel ensure comfort for their guests. The well-tended outdoor complex features both seawater and freshwater swimming pools, each with children's paddling pool. Guests can also cool off with a refreshing drink from the poolside snack bar. Sports enthusiasts will be thrilled with the tennis and basketball courts. Travellers can enjoy all their meals in the main restaurant which is set up in buffet style with a variety of Cretan, Greek and international cuisines.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Stayed in this hotel for 10 nights in July. Reception area very spacious and clean. Check in was different to other hotels. We were asked to take a seat and given a nice welcome drink. Overall took approx 15 - 20 mins. Our room was a comfort triple jacuzzi room which was surprisingly spacious , with large terrace. Lots of hanging space and large shelf underneath. Cleaned daily with water replenished in our fridge. Pool areas were amazing , kept spotlessy clean. We always got beds around large pool after 8am each day, although nuerous beds were reserved with towels , we didnt see any of them being removed as per hotel policy. At the smaller pool beds did get taken earlier. The pool bar staff were polite, chatty and never much of a queue anytime during the day. A special mention to Dimitris who knew our drink from day one - 2 prosecco and beer with couple of shots. Miya was a smiling face in reception bar who also knew our drinks. The buffet restaurant always a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. Very spacious, never seemed to be crowded. Food was very good quality, especially breakfast. Dinner, although good quality could have more variety some nights. At times food was only luke warm. Special mention to Adelaida who always stopped for chat, asking how our day was. A very friendly girl who enjoys her work and meeting people. Entertainment was good, different entertainers each night, from saxaphonist, to singers and beach party every Thursday. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Always asked how was your day. Thank you Magda and all reception staff. Rania guest relations always on hand in reception - very friendly and enjoyed stopping to chat with her. Thanks to all staff, cleaners, maintenance, bar and restaurant for making our holiday a memorable and truly relaxing one. We will definitely be back.
This hotel is amazing I have stayed in alot of 4 and 5 stars hotels all over Europe but I will put this at the top the staff could not do enough for you .the place and food was amazing no rushing around for sunbeds .four pools to choose from. the lovely bars on the beach for a nice drink .
Just back from a two-week stay at the Stella Blue, and we had a lovely holiday The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The showers are amazing, although the glass is clear, so there's not much privacy if you're sharing with friends. A frosted section on the glass would definitely be a good addition.
During your stay, you can visit both the Ocean and BLE restaurants once per week, and we really enjoyed both. BLE offers a snack bar menu where you can sit down and order from a menu, as does the Asian restaurant by the other pool. The food at both was excellent.
The main restaurant was nice too, although it did become a little repetitive after two weeks. I'm quite a fussy eater, but I always managed to find something I enjoyed, especially the desserts!
I was pleasantly surprised by the entertainment. After reading some reviews, I expected the evenings to be very quiet, but the hotel is clearly making an effort to offer more activities. There was a beach party on Thursdays, saxophone and violin performers, a DJ by the pool, and water aerobics during the day.
The pools are lovely, but just be aware they're saltwater rather than freshwater, which I hadn't realised before arriving.
The sea views and sunsets from the hotel are absolutely stunning.
If you walk to the right of the hotel, you'll find a few bars, restaurants, and supermarkets on the way to Analipsi village. If you fancy eating out, I highly recommend Sirtaki Tavern in the village. It's a family-run restaurant where they make you feel so welcome, and the food is amazing.
If you're looking for a bit more nightlife, ask reception to book you a taxi. It's around €15 each way for a 10–15 minute journey into Hersonissos, where you'll find plenty of bars, restaurants, and a livelier atmosphere.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return. If you have any questions about the hotel or the area, feel free to ask—I'd be happy to help
My partner and I had an amazing 1 week stay at Stella Blue and honestly didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and pointed us straight to the buffet so we could eat before it closed.
The buffet food was delicious, and there was always something simple, like bolognese, if you didn’t fancy anything else. I liked the variety of dishes available, although I do think there could be a few more options in the evening. Breakfast was really delicious —I thoroughly enjoyed it and definitely had at least three hash browns every day! 😆
Both à la carte restaurants were fantastic, and the food was amazing. I’d recommend booking your slots as soon as you can because they fill up quickly. The views from both restaurants are gorgeous and really add to the overall experience.
Our room was spacious, modern, and clean. People highly recommend the swim-up rooms, and while I do think they’re probably worth the extra cost if you don’t want to go far for beds, they’re definitely not essential if you’d rather save some money. We stayed in a standard room and thought it was perfect. We also never had any trouble finding sun beds, even when leaving our room around 10am, as there were still plenty available.
The bed in the room was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was brilliant. The only thing to note is that the shower door is completely transparent, so if you’re travelling with family or friends, there isn’t much privacy.
The whole resort was beautiful and perfect for aesthetic photos, with some lovely (saltwater) pools and a relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. The cocktails were delicious too, so make sure you try as many as possible! The staff were always attentive and helpful if I had any questions.
If you want to go for a walk along the beach, turning right takes you to a small strip with a few restaurants and cocktail bars. We also recommend going to Sirtaki Tavern if you’re looking for a nice meal away from the resort. The food there was beautiful. Just ensure you make a reservation early as it fills up quickly.
Overall, we had such a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, and Stella Blue exceeded our expectations. We would definitely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay. If you have any questions or want some more pictures just let me know! I hope this review helps!
The best hotel my husband and I have been to in 10 years! From the moment we arrived to leaving, the staff couldn’t do enough for us! The hotel room, (we had a luxe swim up room) was amazing, the food in the buffet restaurant and the two al a carte restaurants were out of this world, delicious! The cleanliness, facilities, everything was definitely a 5*. We have been to many all inclusive hotels from Lanzarote to Mexico but this was by far the best! We will definitely be returning again.
