I had an excellent experience at the Spa today . Joanna gave me a perfect relaxing massage.
The good points about this hotel
It has everything you would want, spa, kids slides, splash park, beach location, limited evening entertainment, extensive all inclusive and A La Carte restaurants.
Most staff were amazing, in particular Anna and Becky from the Elia Restaurant, I cannot rate them highly enough. They took time to pay our daughter lots of attention and made us feel special. We really appreciate that.
Spa staff were amazing too the lady who did our treatment Sonya was amazing and the British lady manning the fort.
Cake for my birthday - the little things but all very much appreciated
We had issues and the hotel tried their best to sort them - this is always a very good sign of a hotel operation
Good supply of snacks and treats throughout the day.
We had a magician and Greek dancers one night - this was very good.
Stocked mini bar on arrival and complimentary bottles of wine delivered to our room throughout our stay
It didn’t feel too busy or crowded- excellent!
The bad points
Apart from the Ellia restaurant most of the A La Carte restaurants are very disappointing.
The buffet felt very samey every day
The hotel room was in need of some TLC, we arrived and the private pool needed cleaning, stains/dirt on the outside sun lounger cushions which were not sorted on our stay, the cushion for the outside bench was torn but covered up with a sheet, we had a hook for an egg chair but the actually egg chair was missing whilst our neighbours had an egg chair in place, the wooden roof trellis needed painting, the sofas in our room had staines and the air conditioning machine had so much dust in the fins it was clear it hadn’t been serviced or cleaned in its life… it was a little bit disappointing considering how much we paid for a 10 day stay which was over £6000
The kids splash pool was only active once or twice in our stay
The kids pool with the slides was Baltic cold, my daughter’s lips went blue after 10 minutes so we had to take her out.
Only allowed certain amount of beach towels
Kids entertainment needs to be improved and more offerings for children in the evening,
The hotel had an outside event attend which overtook the hotel and cancelled the kids entertainment one evening.
Lots of ants!
Look overall was it perfect… No, was it great - yes .. would I be back? In a heartbeat, but only if the price was better as I would be more comfortable accepting the issues and condition. If those bits noted above were attended to it would be 5 stars
Overall, the hotel has great potential. The resort is large, offers beautiful views and has very good facilities. We especially enjoyed the adults-only lagoon pool, where it was peaceful and relaxing. Families have a separate pool with attractions and an aquapark. Breakfast at the Elia Restaurant was also a big advantage, as it was much quieter and more comfortable than the main restaurant.
However, for a 5-star premium hotel, the overall standard did not match the price we paid. Between 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., the only food available was pizza, cake, fruit and ice cream, which was disappointing after a long journey.
The hotel also seemed understaffed during the high season. There were long queues at the bars, very slow service in the lobby bar and not enough seating at the Marina Bar in the evenings.
Housekeeping was inconsistent. We stayed in a Maisonette in the Village area, and it was a matter of luck whether our room was cleaned. On one occasion, the housekeeper arrived at 5:00 p.m. while we were showering and skipped the cleaning because her shift had ended. We only noticed an improvement after speaking to the hotel manager, not after reporting the issue initially. Complimentary bottled water was also not replenished regularly.
In addition, the swimming pools were not always clean, which we did not expect from a hotel of this category.
The hotel has great potential, but better staffing, more reliable housekeeping and cleaner pool areas are needed for it to truly meet the standards of a 5-star premium resort.
I have an unwritten rule that I’ll never visit the same holiday resort and hotel twice because the world is a big place to explore but after staying in this hotel, I think I’ve changed my mind.
In my opinion, this hotel has everything - a quiet relaxing pool, a pool and waterpark perfect for children and two beaches, one with water sports on offer.
It boasts a number of different restaurants, the food is tasty, plentiful and well presented. There was adequate space and seating that mealtimes didn’t feel stressful, like some hotel buffers can feel.
Our room was the best we’ve ever had, it was very spacious.
The location of the hotel is excellent, it takes 30 mins to walk to the centre of Agios Nikolaos, or costs 9 Euros in a taxi. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which we caught to Eloundi - takes 30 mins and cost 2 Euros.
We had spa massages with Joanna and Maria, and the experience was exceptional. Both therapists were incredibly professional, gentle, and attentive. The treatments were relaxing, thorough, and left us feeling completely refreshed. Joanna and Maria created a calm atmosphere and delivered a truly high‑quality wellness experience.
Our children were looked after by Annamarie and Maria, and they absolutely loved their massages. The therapists were kind, patient, and wonderfully gentle, making the kids feel comfortable and relaxed throughout. It was a perfect experience for young guests — safe, calming, and very enjoyable. We couldn’t be happier with the care they provided.
