The family-friendly hotel enjoys an ideal situation frontline to the pebbly beach of Messonghi on the eastern coast of Corfu Island, between the unspoilt greenery and lush mountains on one side and the eternal blue of the Ionian Sea on the other side. It is located between the villages of Messonghi and Moraitika. Corfu Town is about 22km away and can get reached within 45minutes by public bus.
The hotel offers classically decorated rooms, amenities include wireless internet access and a furnished balcony or terrace with unobstructed views of the landscaped garden or the sea. Children will love the various children's pools, the playground, the playland, the mini-club as well as other activities. There are 2 outdoor pools (2 adult pools and 1 mini aquapark), a wide range of sports facilities, a spa, restaurants and bars. A great hotel for couples and families with children
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 3 outdoor swimming pools, a nightclub and a water park (surcharge). Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and an arcade/games room.

Honest Review of Our Stay
Overall, we enjoyed our holiday, but several issues affected our experience.
Hotel & Room
The hotel looks lovely from the outside, and the check-in staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious enough for four, although dated and with ants on the balcony. As we mainly used it for sleeping and changing, it met our needs.
Pools & Sun Loungers
The pool areas were extremely busy, with towels being placed on loungers as early as 5am. There are nowhere near enough loungers, and many were uncomfortable or broken. The hotel should invest in more and enforce a fairer system.
The pools themselves were pleasant, with plenty of choice, but they had to be closed and cleaned three times after people had used them as toilets, pooing in them. This was disgusting and suggests the hotel should enforce proper swimwear and hygiene rules more strictly.
Food, Drinks & Service
The food was basic but adequate. Queues, especially at the grill, were often long, and people regularly pushed in.
Drinks were average—the beer was poor, although the spirits were better. Staff worked extremely hard, but there were clearly not enough of them, resulting in long queues. More staff and self-service drinks stations would make a significant difference.
The outside snack-bar pizza was delicious but had long queues due to only one serving station. The beach snack bar was the best option, with friendly service and good paninis. The French side snack bar was acceptable, although its menu varied by day.
Beach & Excursions
The beach was lovely, and the sunrise was stunning. My daughter enjoyed seeing the fish in the water, although the entrance was rocky. As with the pool, beach loungers were limited, so arriving early was essential.
We booked a boat trip through Solou, who was excellent and highly recommended. Corfu Town and Old Corfu were easy and inexpensive to visit by bus; reception can provide information. The €1 boat trip across the river is also worthwhile, leading to a charming village with good places to eat and drink, including a sports bar with a pool.
Overall
The main negatives were the constant queues, lack of sun loungers, insufficient staffing and the apparent divide between the French and English sides. The staff worked very hard, but the hotel needs more employees, additional loungers and self service drink stations.
Although the beach, pools and excursions were definite positives, the hotel currently feels closer to three stars than four.
Would I return? Not at present, although I might reconsider if the staffing, queues and sun lounger shortages were addressed.
Pilates with Panos was very relaxing and good exercise
🌴 My Review – What a Difference a Year Makes! ❤️
I stayed at this resort last year with my son and we had a lovely time. However, as the resort had only recently been taken over by Mitsis, I felt it still had a little way to go before it reached the level of the Mitsis experience I had come to expect from my previous stays.
So, I decided to return this year and see for myself what changes Mitsis had made — and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! ❤️
This was my second solo trip, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed.
From the moment I arrived, the transfers and check-in were very swift, friendly and welcoming.
I was initially shown to a room with a lovely view, but because I sometimes struggle with my mobility, I quickly realised that managing the stairs every day for a whole week simply wouldn’t have been possible for me.
I went back to reception and was absolutely delighted with how respectful and accommodating the staff were. They listened to my needs and immediately reassured me that they would arrange a different room. As the cleaners were still in there, the porter offered to collect my suitcase and move everything for me so I could simply relax and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. ☀️
Well done, Mitsis! 👏❤️
My new room was spacious, clean and lovely — ground floor and perfectly located near the pool, bar, snack bars and beach. It made such a difference to my holiday. The rooms were cleaned daily by the very hardworking housekeeping team, who did a fantastic job.
🎶 Entertainment
The entertainment was on point, with something always going on. The children seemed to absolutely love the electric cars in the evenings, driving around and having fun. It was lovely to see!
🏊♀️ Pools
The pools were clean and felt very safe, with lifeguards keeping a close eye on everyone without being overbearing or spoiling anyone’s fun.
🍽️ Food
This is probably where I noticed the biggest improvement.
There was always something to eat, with themed nights throughout the week. One evening I had chilli tacos and they were absolutely amazing! Another evening there was a Chinese buffet.
Everything was fresh and prepared where you could see it being cooked.
As someone who has previously worked in catering, I was particularly impressed with the hygiene standards I saw. The staff were welcoming, attentive and worked incredibly hard.
❤️ Customer Care
A special mention has to go to Haithem and his sister Eya from the customer care team.
They were both absolutely lovely and so helpful. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and they genuinely made me feel welcomed and looked after.
🌴 Overall
Mitsis, congratulations! 👏❤️
The changes I saw compared with my previous visit were really impressive. It was lovely to return and actually see the improvements for myself.
I came away feeling very happy with my holiday, and I honestly cannot wait to return again.
If you are considering booking this hotel, go for it — you won’t be disappointed! ❤️🌴☀️
Thank you to all the wonderful staff who helped make my solo holiday such a lovely experience. 🥰
Spent a week at the hotel lots of information when you check in re times, bars, food, etc but you get given a card with all on.
Price we paid decent value for money. We were in a bungalow garden view no major issues with the room apart from toilet syphon making noises reported but not fixed so we just ensured we didn’t flush at night 🤣 room had plenty of wardrobe space and had two single beds pushed together and bunk beds. Adequate space for holiday !
Sunbed situation was tough if you weren’t up by 7 you’d struggle to get any (with unberella) some people have towels on all day and don’t come out till 3 (should be removed)
Positives Food choice decent (pizza, pasta, sandwiches, burger, hot dogs, tacos, wraps and buffet
Location / beach front perfect - lovely to go over on the river boat to other side
Cleaning staff word hard - rooms always spotless no complaints
Reception staff lovely
Negatives Not enough unberellas (suggestion would be to have some on grass area
Not enough water stations / self serve should be more
Queues at bar not great every bar there is a queue and can be up to 15/20mins peak season - self serve beer and wine in the ‘German/French side’ more of these please !
Staff that deserve a mention and shout out (as not all were happy - main bar the guy that doesn’t wear a name badge for one!)
Marika (reception check in - seamless check in so polite - If she’s not a manager already should be ☺️) Olga (beach bar serving food always happy) Natalie (main bar so polite always has a smile) Alexandra (main bar works hard also reminds people who push in there’s a queue) Sergi and Celia who cleaned our room and around the pool area work so hard as mentioned room spotless - thank you 🙌🏽
Firstly I want to say we had a great holiday and the kids aged 11 and 5 had a great time! I’ll start with the positives- Entertainment was great. Animation team were fab! Very enthusiastic and they always have something going on! The cinema show is a must see.on fact all staff we came across were lovely! 🙌🏻 Things to do. They have numerous pools and right on the beach, kids slides which were fab. We liked the fact we could Nip to the beach for a bit then return to the pool. Tip- take bread down and feed the fish! We also tried the water sports did pedal boat and kayaks which were reasonably priced and we enjoyed. Food- snack bars were all lovely during the day. Always something to eat in the restaurant and desserts were amazing. Our room although a little dated was in a lovely location and scenic you could sit out on the little grass terrace after kids were in bed. And right near everything so never a far walk! Boat trip- we did the blue lagoon sunset trip which was amazing! Highly recommend. Cons- The biggest con was the drinks! You had to queue to get a drink then often didn’t get what you asked for or a flat pop. Also cocktails were awful regularly made without all ingredients and my husband couldn’t drink the beer which he has never struggled to do in the past. We ended up buying drinks from the mini mart. Sun beds- there simply isn’t enough! Nowhere near and a lot are broken. The pools were not big enough either so often felt very crowded which didn’t always feel safe with my 5 year old trying to learn to swim and everyone constantly in her way/walking into her. The cons didn’t ruin our holiday but would put me off returning sadly.
